"Ah. Now, see - Rosh Hashana is this upcoming Monday. My mother, she makes apple cake a whole year in advance as a treat. Perhaps your mother would let you experience a new holiday - my little brother Jacob will be there, you have met him. And Tziporrah, she lives with my parents."

Zara offers out two books - one, a dry-looking volume on "Gallain of Araby." The other appears to be a children's book about Jewish holidays.

"Oh, how delightful, now I will know about Jinn and Rosh Ha.ha.." She tries to pronounce it right

She takes a breath and thinks of Centaurs "Hashana" Pretty good

"Aye!" A smile.

"I like Yiddish, you have to play with your spit" Approving

A soft chuff of laughter. "It is like a secret language, a'times. I shall teach you some words, if you wish."

"Yes, please. Should I get tea?"

Zara nods. "I believe that sounds like a plan. I have some petit fours hidden away for aging... "

And soon, Zara is teaching some Yiddish words over Tea
