The big Eshu enters in

"Hey Oswald any star wars news?"

"Oh always, but currently Rollo's pissed about the new Masters of the Universe thing on Netflix..." Oswald observes

Rollo huffs "Show's supposed to be about He Man... and ..." Rassles frazzle "And I'm not crazy about Teela"

"She's captain of the guard... of course she's muscled up" Oswald says

"She wasn't a wimp before... I'm good with the Pants" he protests

"Rollo, you got to stop basing your happiness on a dreamer's intellectual property" Oswald observes

"I have the POWER!" Emma breeze by - in pants! - with the power sword.

Rollo STARES at the Star Wars nut "You did not just say .... " Then he ducks as the sword goees over his head "Damnit Emma"

Caspian grins "I think I missed this place"

"Pardon me folks, I'm off to see a librarian" He tips his hat, "And Emma, you DO have the power"

"And I said Hey-ya-hey-ya-ha, hey, yeah, hey. I said HEY, what's going on?" She bows, and is off again!

"AH.. " Rollo snorts and goes to rage about this online

Caspian heads to the library "Before you ask, Bronte, I have no books"

"Feh" comes from the sound from the shelves

"Ah, that was quite quick. Hello, Caspian. I have an excellent Rooibos tea you might enjoy..."

"Why thank you, Zara. The library is looking lovely, as usual, but I note some new books. Thriving is it?"

"Doing very well, yes." She moves to prep the tea. "Some books I am yet to distribute locally."

"Ah, interesting. That's a bit social for you isn't it? No offense, I know you are more outgoing than some sluagh, and spreading books is spreading knoweldge"

"It.. " She sighs. "I amhoping to find a discreet way of handling it. It is a favor in exchange for a favor."

"Ask Earl, he's no butterfly but he'd certainly do it for you" A smile

"Aye, but I promised."

"AH, well, you're nothing if not a woman of integrity" He tilts his head "Is there something else you need help with? Your note was.. very quick to me"

"Well, da'an provides. So. Let me tell you a story. It begins with a Crime."

So unfolds a tale - of a mortal family, of parents and siblings and a macaroon-baking Bubbe.

Of young men, vying for glory, and risking much to do so - behind the backs of the parents, losing and gaining, and gaining again, when guilt rose in one and not the other.

And... the Crime.

How only one escaped, by sheer luck and timing. How five died in agony.

His eyes darken "If we weren't inside, I'd spit on the soil and curse this Regeninald's name"

A tiny smile curls on her grey lips.

The tale turns to a Ghost, Restless and grieving and furious.

And how Reginald was Educated in the true depth of his folly.

"And is in mortal jail, well done. I know little of restlless souls but enough stories to know rest is best for them. It is not often one helps a Kithain, stops a monster in mrotal flesh, and consoles the dead. A very good story indeed, Talia" A wink

"Now... THAT is not a name to be whispered far!"

"Understood, Miss Zara, " Moderately contrite, which is as contrite as the big Eshu can manage

"So you helped a kith sister find her way, good to know there is another far walker"

"Aye. And as my mother has taken her in... well, Fahdalia has been wonderful. but I am sure she would appreciate other tale-spinners and travellers to share in the teaching."

"I see, well, you did just give me an amazing tale to spin, so I suppose asking me to add Miss Fahdelia in the girl's Eshu learning is only fair. How soon do you want me in that area?"

She shrugs. "I trust you will arrive right on time."

"So far, they are doing quite well. I know not how Tziporah will react to Reginald's arrest."

"Mm a fair point. Well, I'll get there when I get there" He nods matter of factly and takes a sip, "You seem to be putting your fingers in a lot of pies if I may say? All to the good. The farm speaks of you with dread and fondness"

"Hopefully more of the former, but I woefully suspect the latter. All my hard work..."

'Not too hard, the great egress has .. ah not sure I should tell you" he sips

"Right shouldn't have started if I didn't realize I best keep going" A grin "The childlings are in egress, on the side. I helped some of them out. Adorable. They'll probably rounded up by parents soon enough"

Of course, Zara does know. But there you are

"Ah yes. Of course." Serene sip.

"You knew? Ah, " he sighs "I won't bother to ask how . Still I thought it would comfort you that the seeds of DeBuke are scattering in willful defiance of the old roots"

Zara nods again and smiles. "Change is good, and I say that even in my summer voile."
