All through out Earthrunes, servants on early shift pause and read the declaration put up. There has been a baronial decree! The orders are odd, but they're changelings, Odd is no stranger. What really surprises them is WHO made the decree.

And, they obey, going about... "Guess that mean's we're having the poached eggs..." One servant says

"I have a chess game with Sir Bachdion" Annother says

"Are they SERIOUS?" Kylie the Nocker tilts her head

"Wibbly Wobbly Timey whimey" Zing observes

"You will obey the Baron" Sir Sergei declares. "As will we all. " Still even the Varich is surprised

"Okay furkin seirous" Kyle says "TGIF and all"

"Friday cocktail hour has come early!" Vince proclaims with glee, and heads to the bar to conspire with Jack about an appropriate cocktail for the occasion.

Zara might venture down for a murky drink.

Coradel seems exceptionally pleased by this development, and urges the troubadours to play instrumental variations on Friday-themed songs.

Earl grins as they dance "Enjoying the gift?""

"Tis delightful."

Leonora talks to Coradel "Honest to gosh, she looked like she had oral with a pumpkin... I nearly died. Bachdion told me I was being rude but I didn't SAY that too her. Heck.. I reccomended the Crystal Palace Reborn. Much nicer than Le Petite Snoot"

Earl moves with his lady "I'm glad. When I told August the idea, he said not only would he support it, he'd decree it. I don't think he normally decrees anything"

Coradel seems very surprised by Leonora's description. "Odd. She's always struck me as having a fine hand with her appearance. Well, perhaps her usual lady's maid is out."

"Something about breeding, but then, they're all about Breeding in Silver wolf, horses, dogs, falcons... " Leonora shrugs

"Twas a fine idea for a gift. And not so direct a shanda."

"I've learned " Earl nods "Only indirect Shandas from here on" Earnest toned but his eyes twinkle

Coradel gives Leonora a bemused look. "Now, now, don't be snide. Or, not too snide."

"You say Bachdion interceded before she could get to Sergei?"

"To help with the make up, nothing ..funn" A smile "or they'd have taken a lot longer"

"Oh, I can't imagine Dame Calanthe would be particularly interested in bedding a commoner. That's not where her preferences lie, from what I've seen in the brief moments I've spent with her. And yes...Bachdion is not a stranger to the 'quickie' when appropriate, but he's much more inclined to...extended endeavors." A wink.

"My experience as well" A wicked smile

Nearby, Claire looks about. She seems to resent she'd had to give up armor

"Oh, now, Claire...What can we do to satisfy the urge to fight? How about some archery? Throwing knives?"

"Whatever god or goddess decided women would get a hormone rush that would be perfect for violence at the same time violence was discouraged is very petty and cruel"

"Hardly. You need to defend that payload of yours, if threatened."

"How's the passenger doing?"

"Unruly and disrespectful. If anybody else kicked me this much, I'd meet them in a duel"

"Oh, you'll have your chance, I'm sure of it." Quietly, though, Coradel is rather glad that this body hasn't had to experience mortal childbirth, while she still has the benefit of two fine children.

"Well, since we're talking here..." Delores appears from no where

"Rumor has it, that Dame Calanthe gave you a rather wistful look, Dame Claire" the boggan states

MEANWHILE, Zara and Earl enjoy this 'Indirect Shanda' "how is it going in Scarsdale, with the ..project?" Earl asks

"Oh? Did she?" Coradel asks. "Hmmm." A concerned pout of her lips.

"You sure?" Claire looks dubious at Delores "I mean, no offense Steward but she doesn't seem the type"

"Of course i'm not sure, good gossip always is open to alteration and tailoring"

Delores says

"Marzanna is handling today. The girl is still in the hospital, I am uncertain when she may be discharged."

Coradel shakes her head. "I wouldn't have expected it, either."

"Burns can be nasty" Earl frowns "I'm sorry, my love. For her, and for you to have this happenn during your time" A kiss on her cheek "But as you have a target , I imagine you will express your displeasure as needed"

"Well, " DELORES says "One never knows but rumor has it, when it comes to begating, Silverwolf should stick to horses dogs and birds"

Zara's ears perk

"Aye, love. Reginald shall be educated." As she eavesdrops on Delores

"How do you mean, Delores?" Coradel asks.

Delores is happy to share "Turns out the baron there had a son, a fine lad really, but a pooka boy with slipped seeming. Cann't go out among mortals except on two legs. I've heard rumors some consider the place cursed. Now they'll be fine. They have wards, but maybe there's something wrong with the place when it comes to having kids the mortal way?"

"Oh, my. That poor boy." A thought. "Delores, does Sir Sergei know of this?"

"He's not one for gossip, poor serious minded dear" She shakes her head

"Well, true, but...if the Dame is thinking to do more than merely dally with him, he should know what he's getting into, I think."
