A soft chuff.

"1122 shall aid."

"Then we are certain to succeed." August says firmly.

"Oh, and now he is sure it shall be because of him..."

"Won't it be?" but there is a small smile on his lips.

1122 makes a doffing the hat motion

"Fair point."

"Well. I, ah, don't mean to keep you. I wanted to make sure you had those." he indicates the bag.

"And you have my gratitude."

"I would have agreed to, I'd have done, far more to secure them." He says.

"Because you are my dearest friend."

"Yes."

"If you wish, I had some reading planned... you could join me?"

Only a sluagh would think reading in companionable silence would be a "fun hangout activity".....

"I'd like that. Shall I order tea?"

Well, a sluagh and a Liam.....

Indeed!

"Oh, aye. That sounds wonderful..." A look to the window and the gentle tap of rain. Yes, perfect.

A warm smile, and August goes to order their usual tea set, and curls up near her with a schoolbook.

Zara settles in with a volume of poems - classwork? Pleasure? Both?

And an occasional, odd exchange occurs. They read aloud, softly, those passages that entertain each; some point of law, then a line of poetry, then silence as they read further until prompted by long habit to offer another tidbit to the other.
