Earl says "Velvet, I can quick silver you. Your room is right across he hall"

She perks a that "if it be possible?"

He chants.. and.. soon, Velvet is making a slightly undignified dash to her room

"Thank you, Earl."

"She's a fine young lady" Earl says

Ivanka has reluctantly gone ot help with spring cleaning (And fix the damage) leaving the three friendss alone

"I'm very pleased with her service."

"August would like to know your side of the story , Zara..well our side. I told him i was up to you" Earl says

"Ah.. I... I wished to investigate, nu?"

"Rather tripped up when I sprung that trap..."

August steps to the door and orders a tea set for sluagh and company before returning. "Pardon that. A trap?"

"When I had realized the Count was a golem, and followed it..."

"There was a trap."

"The -Count- was a golem?"

"Oh right, you only saw the beheaded version.. yes, we were fighting his double"

"And it was the double who was part of Guzela's plans." August guesses.

"Right. She hid him well, but the glamour was -wrong_..."

"-You- saw through it."

Earl puffs up "my lady misses little"

"Well, I was looking for aught out of place."

"And found it."

"Apparently the glamour was too uniform, too static?" Earl asks

August nods. "Someone beheaded the golem; I assumed it was you, Earl."

"Took forever" he admits "But I actually had help. 1122 got into it's skin through a hole I made, found some rivets.. and made it possible"

August nods. "And because you did, I was able to open it up and remove the chem."

Earl nods "I really need to study more languages it seems. "

"The Arabic came in handy." August admits with amusement.

Then Earl says "I'm still not sure what to do with that boon"

"I'm afraid I haven't any advice."

"Mm... armor?"

"Fitting." August agrees.

"I have some armor.. chain shirt" He says "Well, when I remember to bring it."

"Dougal know armor."

He ponders "Maybe I will. THouhg I think I'd rather get armor for you, Zara. I want you protected"

"Armor? It would slow me down, confine me..."

August gets the tea cart and brings it over; it's possible that he uses the movement to cover a smile.

"I was thinking if anyone could make protection that would do neither it might be dougals"

August pours and sets out the cups; he knows how each likes their cuppa.

"Mmm..." Uncertain.

"Maybe I can at least finagle a two part gift, something for protection for both of us. I know, trolls worry"

August sips his tea, nods.

"I know. And you did save me."

Sigh.

"I did" He nods "With help."

"I was.... very worried, Zara."

"I... oh.. it..." She pinks. "Truthfully, I..." Looking for a way to lighten the mood, but stumbling.

A gentle smile; he's not upset or angry.

Earl takes her hand and kisses it "it's okay. You made a lovely damsel but I think you shouldn't take that role too often"

"And I'm very glad you are, both, well."

"I am fine now."
