Gideon the boggan strums his guitar and walks thorugh the hallways as various boggans go about their tasks of cleaning. changing the linens, or bringinng food- and as he plays, the boggans begin to sing

"Look there she goes floating in the hallways how odd
Well she's always been strange lass don't you know?
But I'd swear to any god
Her head is lost in the clouds
Maybe the others don't see the obvious
that quiet girl's love is very loud!

It's no secret she's in love with Sir Earl
And no denying he loves her!
But lately something's in the air
neither has a care!
They've clearly got a secret they won't share!"

Can a spider tut? Septima certainyl tries!

"Oh..." Charity sings going by "It's like they've been tasered.... their eyes light up but no one's there!"

Gideon agrees and sings back "They lovely, but this is getting stranger! You all know what this means?"

The others chant "They've clearly got a secret they won't share!"

Septima waggles her pedipalps! Scandal!

"Well we best go on there's no help for it! We'll act like we don't notice, it's only fair!"

"We love them both a lot, though she smells a bit like rot. So we'll support their dreams and we'll be there!"

Zara peeks out, eyebrows quirked. "Was there singing?"

"mm?" Gideon says "Oh just strumming on my guitar, but singing? no.. no. I don't think so..."

and Charity grabs more linens

"tea, miss Zara?" She asks

"Oh, tea would be lovely, thank you." She smiles. "Perhaps for two? I think my love will be done working soon."

"Of course" CHarity smiles "I'll get it right after I put these away" Assurances. And off she goes humming a tune

Zara places a hand on her chest and bows before retreating to the library... humming a snippet.

And August might see Earl floating by, done with painting, on his way to the library

Yes, but in Earl's case it can be literal. Odd, but literal.

August looks up. "All is well, Earl?"

"All's great, August... wonderful fantastic stupendous... going to have tea with Zara. "

A fond smile. "Please give her my best? I haven't seen her recently."

"Oh come on, tell her yourself" he invites

"Are you sure? I don't wish to interrupt."

"Well, no harm in bobbing in to say hi on your part. You're our friend, August." A happy smile and they go to the library where the smell of tea awaits "Love, we have a friend saying hi"

Zara looks up from her book. "Oh! August, hello!"

"I shall pour for three..."

August smiles, lifting his hand in greeting. "Oh, I don't mean to interrupt, Zara."

"Nonsense, August.. if you and Zara haven't had a chance to chat, and for that matter neither have you and I, now's a good time. I assure you, soon enough Zara annd I will have each other to ourselves" Adoring look to her

"Ah." a bit pink, but he steps in and approaches "Well, thank you then for the invitation."

Zara meets Earl's gaze, blooming with a smile just for him.

"How have you been, August? How is school?"

Earl pulls out chairs for folks before sitting for himself.

Zara prepares a third cup for August, the way he likes it.

August sits and takes the cup when offered. "A challenge." he admits honestly "Distance learning ..... it's hard to provide support for other students. Of course, I could attend in person but for the sake of the Right of Ignorance....."

A frown. "Coradel must attend some classes in person. I worry."

"Aye. I have been fully remote this semester..."

"I would imagine that suits you well, though." fondly.

"Aye. It has been nice - but then, I had been online in high school, also. It suits me."

"I may stay here, and largely set my own schedule... see those who I would please, and not see those I care not to..."

"As ever." he reminds her, still smiling softly.

"Aye, so."

"I do like this hold."

"Like a spider in her web" Earl sips

"You do? I'm glad."

"Do you have any plans for Carnival?"

"Yes!" he brightens "I have several promising potentials for Carnival Monarch. I've been, ah, cultivating them."
