It tasks Zara, it does, this chain.

She sits in the wingback, glaring dolefully at the hateful thing.

The sluagh unfolds and stalks in a circle around the table. The chain is in a box, but the lid is open.

Seven circles, yes.

It sits there. An affront to squirming kind

"Forged by Dougal yet given to Varich's sun, you will speak now and answer the questions of this one."

And her power takes root it WILL answer

"Explain to me the magic that fuels you."

"Aye, aye - but do you hold any essence of sluagh, such as a soul?"

"THe dougal who made me would never will it so, I know them, but Iam not of them, or the Varich would never trust me"

A sigh of relief - THAT theory had been eating at her.

"May you be redirected to work against a different target than sluagh?"

"I am a chain to anyone in truth, but sluagh are especially bound"

and she swears it almost inched towards her, the chain that is, as if it might ge a snag of her

Zara crosses over, flicking the lock on the door.

well, it's unlocked or locked now depending on what it was before

Zara gets a feather and a knife, taking time to hand-cut a quill.

She is deft and skilled at such

Hand-cut quill. Clean parchment. She spends a fair amount of time preparing a seal to fill in... layering squares and circles in a complex star.

It is not a fast art, the finding of Names. It must be sought one letter at a time.

Delicately, meticulously, and off she goes

"Delicate" and "meticulous" might be why she is so well suited to this art.

Of course, somewhere, an Eiluned might be freaking out.

And the name forms, slowly, surely.. it's long, but she takes and has time

She closes the box. "Who knocks?"

"Minerva. I sensed magic? Powerful.. I felt.."

The parchment and supplies are shoved in a drawer. "Oh, I was saying sooth for the new year... one moment.."

Drawer locked, box tucked on a shelf amidst clutter...

She opens the library door.

"It..didn'tt feel like Sooth.. I think"

"It may have been the Realm, nu? I believe not many deal with Fae as I do."
