"I have to tend the flower garden."

He smiles "You and Horace make a great team. "

She gives him a LOOK.

"Ah.. I'm missing something aren't I?" He scratches the back of his neck

"You think?"

"Oh.. you would miss me?" He says a bit hopeful

"In the vernacular of the library - feh!"

"I like you too" Oswald hip wiggles to lightly bump her. Of course, the size difference might be a factor in how that goes down

She bounces away, then pokes him with her tail. "There aren't the right flowers in Texas, only Blue Roses."

"I think I'll stay here shall I?" A smile though "AND not feel guilty about it"

He gets a kiss.

A kiss back "Thank you, Friendly One, you're my bestest hope"

"Also, no possums in Texas. Only O'possums, and we don't talk about the Irish branch of the family."

"Drink you out of house and home?"

"All the sad music, no zydeco."

"Barbarians" He says

"Non, those are the MAC Possums. It's the haggis, you know."

"Oh I never order those. don't know where the meat comes from and I know it might offend you"

"Oh, you're trying to seduce me."

"Maaybe... want to go out and get some of their fries? Offend the local boggans?"

Whiskers twitch. "OooooOOo." That seems like a yes.

And out they slip to the golden arches drivethrough. Forbidden are the golden crunchy fries. All the better for getting them
