"Adam... the other one 'landed'... and was desperate for haven. She might have taken any body. She went for the one that was a good fit, true, but someone, SOMEONE was getting taken. You didn't summon the sidhe soul"

"No??"

"No," Coradel says firmly. "You did not."

"Magnus knows his shit. Pardon my phrasing"

Adam shakes his head.

Bachdion frowns

Coradel folds her arms. "You are refusing to believe us. You would rather brood."

"Adam...what happened to her is not about us, but it is also not about you."

"No, My Lady. I just know what I saw. I know what happened. It's not about me. It's about her. And... Sir, I'm sorry. I screwed up what I was trying to do and now..." a breath "Now her mom.... I"m sorry, Sir."

"You saw what you saw. But you are misinterpreting it."

"What happened, happened...but you did not cause it. It is not your fault it started, and you could not have stopped it."

"Somethings are fated" Bachdion sighs

"I do not fault you for feeling the loss of the one you were getting to know. But you don't hold any blame in this."

"May I be excused?" Softly.

Coradel sighs. "Go. I'm sure you have duties."

Bachdion does not say anything

"Yes, ma'am." And Adam withdraws, heading with purpose for his rooms.

When he leaves, she looks to the ceiling and makes a gesture with clenched hand. "He can be infuriating."

"Highly" A frown "The boy is.. distraught.. Shaken. With good reason... but I swear, he gave me several reasons to demand a duel there.. not the least of which raising his voice to you." A sigh

"Oh, now, a little bit of volume doesn't bother me. It's in his nature...and I can give him a good slap if he ever gets to the point where he truly earns it." She rests a hand on Bachdion's arm again. "I wish he had not disrespected you."

"I do not think he quite understands that, yet."

"Oh satyr tempers run hot but fast..." He touches her hand over his arm and gives a squeeze "I know he's sure of his blame, but part of me wants ot shake him and tell him this i not a chapter in HIS story... but he is rather sidhe like at times" a bit of humor through the pain?

"Which is precisely why I'm not demanding a duel of my own. Though now I think perhaps I should demand satisfaction of you!" she teases back. "My honor, my honor, though I am not a satyr, it has been besmirched!" she adds with a mocking lilt.

"My dearest pupil," He bumps noses, "You may always demand satisfaction from me, for I do love to satisfy you...and your demands"

A soft amused sound and she nuzzles back, then another sigh. "What shall we do about Adam and Minerva, now? I imagine they will have difficulties when they come across one another."

"It would seem. The boy can barely stand her using the name of the mortal she took " He ponders "Perhaps I can find some ways to keep the lad busy"

"Between you and Sir Sergei, I should think that would not be too difficult."

"True. And Minerva herself must have much taught to her. " A pause "I suspect Minerva is unseelie, not necessarily of an Unseelie House, but her sensiblities do not seem to be much focused on honor"

"I do have the same sense. I strongly suspect Eiluned. Something about her style...." A gesture that echoes one of Minerva's, a delicate turn of hand.

"She does seem a veritable sponge for knowledge, it might be Eiluned curiosity" He agrees

"Indeed. I hope our Seer will be willing to mentor her."

"Oh just order him to do it" Bachdion says "You haven't tyranted in months"

fondness in his eyes

A soft laugh. "Are you saying I'm going soft?"

"Oh you're still soft AND Firm in the proper places" A smile "I merely say the Seer is one of those who doesn't mind a bit of a traditional ism"

"Excellent point. I shall have to demand it." A curt nod. Then she glances out the window she was looking at earlier. "So...any thoughts for how you intend to occupy Adam's attention and mood?"

"I'm going to have to put him in controlled danger. He's going to want to punish himself.. " A sigh

"Ohh. That is a good thought. Catharsis." She nods. "Sky diving to start?"

"As long as I can make sure he pulls the shoot" Bachdion says

"Well, wind-runner is a wonderful bit of fun, as I recall."

Bachdion smirks

"You did take to it well"

"I did, didn't I," she smiles back, sharing the memory with him.

"Perhaps he will, as well."

"Oh you whooped with delight the greater the plummet.. " He remembers

"As I recall, you especially appreciated my backstroke." Her eyes twinkle.

"Oh, after a bit of tutoring, all your strokes were very well done"

"Well, I did have an excellent tutor in that regard." She strokes his arm fondly.

"Yes, good times" He says fondly in return

She reaches up to give his cheek a kiss. "Have I given salve to your bruised honor, Teacher-Mine?"
