"Well, Vince, if you'd like to help the lad, I'm grateful," Bachdion smiles but not for long "It is dangerous though"

"Danger, is that not my middle name? Tis why I have a vestal virgin to follow me, forever whispering in my ear, 'remember, thou art mortal'."

"Yes yes, but enough about Shallimar" the Satyr says

"What could possibly go wrong?"

"Well, there's the notion that Adam has an unawakened fae soul.. that might be dissolved like goo." he frowns "I am endangering my apprentice, but at the same time, he does seem somewhat resistant. It's a gamble"

"So I should bring my loaded dice." He muses.

"A bit of dross would be wise. We're going to let the boy take lead, and then, if need be, get him the hell out"

"I'll see the damsel out of distress if I have to carry him over the threshhold myself."

"Then Prima nocte is yours" The satyr jokes

"So, give me the full tale, and not the tall version. What do you hope to accomplish from this shakedown, other than recouping the Mousey Honor?"

A long pause then "My plan is pretty loose. I want the lad to evaluate the situation. Can we fight this with legality, can we give the man the Ebenezer scrooge treatment? Who else is affected? How can we help them?

"

Cheerfully. "If the Scrooge treatment doesn't work, there's always a 5th floor window. If he can't see the viewpoint of the people in his slums, he can take a closer look at the ground!"

He is joking, of course. Right?

"Somehow I think the LIams in our midst might argue if we defenstated mortals. They are fussy folk" Bachdion sighs

"Perhaps a bungee cord." He allows.

"I wouldn't want to make a... snap judgement."

"Well, now you never get to kiss me again," The satyr says "You brought it on yourself"

"You don't mean that!" His lower lip quivers, and he looks heartbroken.

"I do, this time I must be firm, or it will just encourage you" He holds up a hand, palm out

"I'll just have to give extra kisses to our favorite ladies, and ask them to pass them on" A sigh.

"Smart move" He concedes

"You know me, the bloodthirsty beast. I cannot be reasoned with!" A hand lightly paws the air. "Rowr."

then the Fiona satyr laughs and pulls the lion pooka in for a hug "Ah, you furry lug. " Pat pat on the back "I am a bit worried for the boy, but containing him will not help him either"

"I will look after him like I would my own," He vows, "Who are also your own, so you know I mean business, o brother-mine." A beam as he lifts Bachdion from the ground for a hug and spin! "Just you set the plan in motion, and we'll provide the ocean to git 'r' done."

"Yee ha" the satyr mimes "Okay okay... you've swept me off my hooves already" A laugh "Ah, now set me down. Tell me, what do you think of Adam? I know you just met him, but I'd like a fresh perspective"

He sets Bachdion on his hooves and dusts him off. "He is eager to please, to be loved, and to be understood. He reminds me not unlike a young mortal lion of days of yore, before I found my way and my tale truly began." A swish of his tail.

A nod , the grump ponders "he's a good lad. I was warned that he can be a bit 'if you're not for me you're the baddie' in mindset, but if he is or was he appears to be outgrowing it. That's good. Besides, at that age I had a strong sense of justice myself, and was quite sure the older generation was blind not to see people were doing BAD things out there"

A sigh. "I admit the temptation to look inward and see not such terrible things. Alas, I've been here too long, and even my pristine coat has picked up a touch of blue here and there, and I find the occasional oak leaf tangled in my mane. It is quite disconcerting, but helping out those mortals seems to help keep my mane flowing carefree."

"Yes, Bess and her like " Fondly

"Ah, hmmm." A smile.

"I noticed lately there have been lion prints around their yard in the bushes" Ahem

A slow blink, and mild tone. "Humans are kept inside against the sickness, and the Earth is healing. Wildlife returns. It's a lovely thing."

"The Lions are coming back to Capastrono?" A BROW

A shrug, and a charming grin. "I'm certain that no mortals shall report any such sightings."

"Ha" A pat on his shoulder "how goes the metamorphosis lessons? Innish is a fine teacher but the man blathers if you get him drunk"

"Now now, his best lessons come at the bottom of a glass."
