Once more, tea at the library, and Magnus says "So, if I'm understanding correctly, we arrange for three parties.. one in Tijuana itself. One near here... and the other in New Jersey?" A sip

"Those seem to be the three main nexi..."

"They are... now he has changelings working with him. I've identified one...an Alligator Pooka who once worked for ..." A look over at her "Paler"

August frowns, glancing at Zara as well with concern.

"There are scraps of that operation in Tijuana, aye."

"Not a paler himself, natch" Magnus says

"No, my casting there was true."

"Magnus....."

"Why do we have a team near here? I thought you said the train didn't come through EarthRunes?"

"well 'near here' I guess I mean Missouri" He says

"Zara, did you get a peek at any of Tantalus' other kithain partners?"

"There was a lady redcap..."

"Oh those are always fun" He says intrigued. "I mean, they really strive to prove that old Kipling comment"

August can't help a fond smile. "Thank you, Bronte."

A soft chuff, pleased.

And the smile lingers on his lips at the pleased chuff.

"I wish I had a book wyrm" Envious sigh "Ah well, Zara, I take it you want to be in on the Tijuana team?"

"Well, Tantalus is THERE."

"Does seem to be the crux. So you, August, Earl, me? and.. uhm Caspian?"

"It seems a reasonable assumption." August admits.

"Did you contact the Countess there?"

"Not yet..."

"And you want her informed, August?"

"Well... yes." Blink. "We're coming to her Domain, planning what could become combat....."

"Aye. And she's no friend of villainy either."

"Takes half the fun out of this . Fine, which of us should inform her? And what do we do if she says no? OR.. takes over the operation completely?" Magnus asks

Sniff. "She could try to take it over, but I doubt she would."

"I don't know the lady." August confesses "I yield to Zara."

"Zara, is she a friend to you?"

"Aye, an old friend. From before she earned her name."
