"Hey, Vince, I want to thank ye again for Beltaine, I'm sorry Jonas well, I thought he was ready" Siv says patting the pooka on the shoulder

He gives her a sympathetic look and a pat on the arm. "Not all Trolls are as evolved in the ways of love as, say, we pooka. You are a shining star, head of your class, but it is no shame to grow at his own pace."

He leans in and conspiratorially purrs, "You should have SEEN how long it took to properly train up my dear Liam to the task."

"Well... you've been kind to me," Siv says "And very understanding" Then she laughs softly "Oh I'll not be prying into that too much, not with out the Baronesses approval."

"Oh, you can pry into MY affairs any time." Suddenly looking sly and thoughtful. "Oh, if the Baroness approved, what a fun time that might be."

A BLUSH "not how i meant... oh, Lions are good at ambushing. There I was minding me own on the savanna."

"Speaking of prying... you're a sly rogue of a captain, are you not?" Remembering suddenly a plan that had fallen by the wayside. "Up for a wee bit of reconnaissance? There is a Mystery I wish to track down."

"I'm game for almost anything" Siv says at the mention

He pulls out a bit of paper where he has copied a rolodex card. It says, 'Ranger'. "This was found in one Steward's personal files. Worry not, she loves to share her details, it's less work to spread rumors on her end. I wish to know more of this Ranger. Is he a friend? A deadly foe? A secret lover? A tea vendor?" Tapping at his chin thoughtfully.

Siv whispers "You want me to spy on one of the most powerful members of this court, from a kith known for noticing details, pry into her affairs, and risk further restrictions at best and expulsion at worse? Because you're curious?"

He pouts. "I'm also cute."

"Well, I'll do it , sure, but I want to make sure I've got the mission risks right" She says "And yes.." She actually pinches the shorter kithains' cheek lightly "you're adorbs"

He's not MUCH shorter than her! "Oh, to feel a pinch, upon one cheek, I fear I must express - the other cheeks, are jealous now, why cause them such distress?" He quips poetically and he gives her a little tail fwip to the rear!

"Ha. Hey.." A kiss on that same cheek "There, your dignity restored. Sure. I'll look into this Ranger fellow.. if it is a fellow. Could be a girl?"

A blink. "See, I knew I chose the right seeker. It hadn't occurred to me."

"My mom is a park ranger, and is womanly in her off hours" Wryly

"Womanly, you say? Oh, I must visit."

"Oh Vince, funny as that might be, I'd really not like the idea of you strapped to a truck's grill and driven to parts unknown.. " Siv says "Flirting would just make my mother uncomfortable, and da? Well, he doesn't react well to ma's discomfort"

"Worry not, I shall flirt with thy father and all shall be well."

A SNERK "not sure how mom will respond there..just dont' say I never warned. How soon do you want me to get started on the snooping?"

"As soon as thy find yourself able. I will speak with Jack and Inish, but mayhaps you have your own ideas."

"Aye. I might. Mmm a bit of espionage might just get the blood flowing." She kisses Vince on the lips "Never you fear, you can count on a King"

"Always, indeed, from one king to another." He purrs at the smooch and gives her a bow.

She returns it.. commoners or no, and heads off. Her eyes alight with a mission. She is a troll after all, and they like having a purpose.

While she'll never compare to the sidhe ladies for beauty, long legs on a stride can be fun to view

He hates to see her go, but loves to watch her leave!

And so, Vince sends Siv on a mission fishing for Delores supposition, wishing to know the condition, if she and ranger are kissing. There's more to the story, but them chapters are missing.
