Siv plops down in the library and sighs

"Whyfore sigh?"

"Apparently I demensed wrong" A grumble "And now I'm banned from my sister's lands for a month"

An eyebrow. "...this requires tea."

"With rum in it?" Hopeful

The sluagh quietly bustles - she knows how her friend prefers it. "A toddy? Aye, that I may do."

"It is often that which is denied that is suddenly desired most. Why would Jessica banish you? I could speak to her, if you wish..."

"Oh, she didn't... the Baroness did. Here, let me relate"

A cup of tea (with rum) is set before the nautical troll, while Zara settles opposite with her lumpy-cream concoction.

And Siv explains.. about visiting her sister, joining her on patrol. FOUR men with bloody cold iron daggers. Of how her sister ordered her to get help when Siv was the one better at dodging cold iron slashes, and how Siv disobeyed rather than let her sister oh, DIE...

"And then... one of them THREW a cold iron dagger at me... and my sister tries to protect me.... by leaping in the way thank goodness the guy sucked at that throw... " SHe says

"Feh. Trolls, you would both endanger yourselves to protect the other, and are both angered at the other for endangering themselves."

"I know , I know... i was so mad but later I had it driven home I can't be mad at displays of love and be a Fiona..."

"It is not true anger. It is fear, which bubbles up as heated words."

"And Fiona may still fear, for those they love - no?"

"Of course, the two of you cannot speak of it. Perhaps a video call with expressive eyebrows?"

LOUD sip, then she sticks her tongue out.

"I believe this to be a ploy by Coradel to remind you that your love of your sister is greater than this squabble."

"Yeah I guess...." A sigh "And she seemed to agree with my defiance, and then punished me anyway. But damn... this is hitting the contrary in me SO hard right now."

"As intended."

"Of course, you are banned from Fenix, not from seeing Jessica - aye?"

"Yeah," A sip of her toddy "I guess I could meet her at Rivervale or the like, Aye." She considers "But I doubt she'd leave it. I mean, cold iron attacks, mysterious kithain or something in a coma... it's not a time for someone to leave their throne"

"Are you canned from Fenix, or Renaissance as a whole?"

"she's the countess, I'm banned from her lands.. so.. pretty much the whole city of Tijuana"

"Wow... a major Metropolis, barred from me...for a month. What if she gets in trouble and needs me to rescue her? Ands she might you know? She's frustrating like that"

"Then - fight for it, or defy it."

"Or accept it."

"But for heaven's sake, kvetching shall change naught."

"I have decided on a path, I'm going to be a Fiona Spy Privater with a true heart but with permission to flirt with other fellows as long as it doesn't go to far who fights for love and romance every where but still gets home to Rivervale in time enough to have dinner with the folks."

A sip "I mean...I can do it all, it just will take some hard work"

"Aye, indeed."

"And.. your sister?"

"She's family... I love her," A shrug , a sip "Every overbearing walled off thinks she knows better than me for me inch of her"

"Precisely. Mine once betrayed me to a psychopath. But... she's my sister."

"Whoa, not that this is a contest, but I think you win in the forgive your sister category"

"Well, you have met her. She's quite lovable."

"Vashti, aye, but the betrayed you to a psychopath part I did not know"

"It was not a good situation for her. Empathy... to see why another acts as they do, why they make their choices... well, much can be forgiven."

"Tis amazing she's so well adjusted," A pause "Though.. at times it's disturbing how she says anytime I want a death shroud she can set me up and it will be 'glorious'"

"She has the most pleasant demeanor of any pooka I have encountered, aye. A most gracious and aesthetic creature."

"You don't think she's kind of spoo..." She catches herself, "Pardon, forgot who I was talking to. Aye, she's ...unique."

"I will admit, I am new to having siblings... but I think, overall, it has been a worthwhile experience."

"Aye? how's Jacob?" She smiles

"I was wondering," A sip "he was in this library earlier today"
