There is a knock on the door of Zara's room, soft..and the sound of rustling garments?

The door barely cracks - the room within is dark, and the gap only enough to allow her to see who is outside.

Two lovely outffits, glamoured and expertly crafted. Some sort of magic to make them appear in different builds under the clothes themselves. She can tell. It's Vashti's work.

In short, disguises that folks would look at, and immdetely decide it couldn't be Zara under there

The cantrips in place are strong enough to last for hours

Silly Vashti must have expended energy for this. It will be gone by dawn.

The door opens further and Zara pokes her head out.

No people, just the outfits.

Earl peeks out as well "What is.. oh"

"Vashti."

"This is... excellent work" He says "is.. it enchanted on top of it?"

"Aye. So we may appear as.. ah.. not ourselves."

"Well I..." He blinks.. and runs the material over Zara's arm. The arm UNDEr the material... it's almost as if it was some amazonian build under it. Not troll big, but certainly not the slip of the girl "That's.. interesting" He puts the material over his.. Earl is slender for a troll, under his it gains stockiness "very"

"Different builds and heights, maybe even our gait. I didn't know your sister could incorporate this in clothing"

"My sister is a wonder."

"She is ..." he gazes "I remember when.. our carnival.. OUR carnival was... how you took my arm"

She slides her arm through his. "Aye?"

He snuggles "It was the night that changed my life. From then on, I was no longer staring through the glass wishing I could join you in your world. "

"Suddenly I was in your world and...I never wanted anywhere else"

"I chose you. I... am not certain if I realized how much I had chosen, but aye..."

"Only we would know who we are, and perhaps your sister and who would believe? Shall we once more brave the carnival night after all? secure in each other's company and knowing they cannot know?"

She considers for a long moment before a soft nod.

And they take the garments... and dress... soon, Zara looks like an amazon wearing a most stylish costume of old fashion, Earl seems a bit shorter, broader of chest

And she learns the briliance of the mask! oh no sluagh can do more than whisper... but if she whispers to the mask, it repeats what she says in a different voice

"Astounding!"

He head whips at that. Had she grown ANOTHER head herself he would not be more surprised "Zara? That .. IS you yes?"

"How?"

"Magic, my Love."

A blush under his own mask she knows is happening because, well, she knows him. His own voice is different too. Velvet bold if such things can combine.

"We... oh, this is disconcerting... we can visit below - and perhaps go out from there? Mayhaps High Reeds..."

"Why not, the world is ours " Now dressed both, he must once more offer his hand the gloved mitt oustretches, "Besides, I think you enjoy that it's just a bit disconcerting"

"Well.. yes."

She touches her masked forehead to his. "So - shall we?"

"We shall" And he guides her out into the night.
