Oswald nods , "Since you're letting me know, yes, but it will slow your movement rate as you go."

After the game, Earl takes Zara's hand, and he walks with her, "That was fun. I did not see Oggette THROWING the golem head into the gears like that."

But she can tell that's not what's on his mind.

"Miss Emmaline is certainly enthusiastic."

"Yes, and speaking of Enthusiasm..." A curious look, "When we freed those souls from the Dark Oath, and Oswald said that was a first time for our party, you gave that smug look... like not all of us. "

"And rumors, from the boggans mostly, are that ... the key club is up to something. or was." A dubious brow

"Well, they are an industrious bunch..."

"And tight lipped" He says "I remembered that you went there to practice certain.. hand skills" Lockpicking is taken wrong so he uses another term, "You know anything about this?"

Zara is pretty sure that Dalton and his crew are too professional to have slipped the info, but those rescued? Well, there was one boggan among the rescued. That's all it takes even if they swear they'll not name names exactly.

"Well, I am certainly not one to tell the Key Club's secrets."

"Mm i am an impasse. One hand, I Know you must have your secrets. On the other hand, if I express no curiousity at all, you will find me quite the dullard, or at least less interesting"

She steals a kiss on his cheek.

"Boggan?"

He smiles.

"Well, I heard boggans gossiping about it. I did not mention to them that you visited the keyclub or any such thing...which you clearly only did for courtesy sake"

"Clearly."

Once they are in the shadows of the library, just the two of them, "But I do have to wonder if I missed out on something fun."

"Mayhaps."

"Should I be envious?" Conspiratorially

He whispers "Were you amazing?"

His eyes sparkle with confidence that she was.

A wry little smile that should be all the answer he needs.

His own smile breaks over his face and he nods, then says just a little louder than a whisper "A shame we will never know the truth of that brave adventure"

"Aye, tis."

"Though if ever need arose, I'm sure they could get help from someone skilled in wayfare" A shrug "Somehow." An offer, not an insistence.

In the darkness, Zara can see that the library has been in use. And there is a new book on the table. Earl doesn't see it, as the light is dim.

"Hm."

Zara goes to see what the offering is.

"mmm?" He turns then sighs "Alas, my competitor, new books." It is a sigh of resignation, and a touch of humor

"No... but perhaps competition of mine..."

"Think you Emmitt might be too plagued with free time?"

"Lately he's been kind of down and brooding. You have a project to keep his mind off things?"

Obviously is the first book is the one that is promised. What a satyr can know about sluagh politics is hard to say, this could be amusing, or, if he knows too much, alarming.

A nod. "A glimmer."

"He is a bit kind to nobility, but he has also been ruled gently."
