Zara gets her updates.. oh and the brothers have met! A swanmay? How curious!

If a sluagh could eat popcorn....

well, tea will do.

Tylar brings in slightly moldy mini bread rolls in a bowl for her. Such a good squire

"Thank you, Squire. Would you seek after Miss Velvet for me?"

"Of course, Head Librarian" He moves and goes.

And soon Velvet has approached, "How may I serve thee, Miss Zara?" She splays her hand across her chest in greeting

"Come, join us for tea." She pours a second.. and third.. cup. The last is untouched by clotted cream, but instead holds images so that Velvet may join in the watching.

"ooo..." She joins "Thank you, most kindly" She takes a seat

A slender finger to grey lips and a smile, acknowledging the shared secret.

the younger sluagh observes and a thing smile on her own as the happy reunion unfolds.

a soft observation, "his brother is not displeasing to the eye"

"No, no he is not. Know you aught of the Swans?"

"A few stories, of course, 7 brothers, a sister working her fingers to the bone to save them"

"Aye, a favorite. And Odette, of course... But did you know Odile's tale? She was imprisoned, too... A dark mirror..."

"That I did not know of.." She says

And then it is tales of love and fate, of tragic but beautiful loss... With pauses to observe the juiciest bits of the tale unfolding before them.

Velvet is attentive to story and images alike, she pines and sighs at the tragedy of it the love.

"Oh, I wonder if Odette, the one here I mean, " A thought "Could she be a swanmay? I thought her a pooka. "

"Hm..."

"A thought' She concedes and sips "Ah, the tea is ever so much better when you're here"

"It can be enjoyable to share with well-mannered company."

"how kind of you to say," Another sip, "I have kept eyes open here while you have been away." An offer for knowledge. boggans would call it gossip, but boggans don't understand sluagh. it goes beyond that.

"I would expect nothing less. You are a bright girl. Roll?" She offers out the bowl.

"Oh, I do love these, Tylar is so very mannerly" She takes one "One notices that Sir Bachdion has been making frequent trips on behalf of Sir Colton and his new lodge. There is a dearth of our kin in Rome it appears, and there are a few who are considering who might be sent to keep an eye on such matters..." She begins to relate what she, Mr. Gluminski,and other sluagh of the key club have chatted about.

A dearth? That will not do! Much planning and discussion for potential pioneers.

Nature abhors a vacuum. And what could be a greater vacuum than a pocket of ignorance? Symon is mentioned but he was abducted by his step mother and returned to rivervale. Still, he would be the one to consult no doubt.

Perhaps a visit is in order...

Indeed, but in the mean time, back to the reunion. Most sweet!
