"Easy there, easy" Jack says, guiding the middle aged woman along

She seems at first, barely to have a mein at all, but as she comes into the freehold, her mien ignites.

Well, sizzles into being.

(In Spanish) "Im very grateful, sir."

"It's okay" Jack says.

She takes a seat.

Jack says "Here's a drink. I'll see if I can find our freeholder or someone"

The woman nods "Gracious"

and Jack goes off.

If he finds August, so much the better

Or the Regent

or..well, anyone.

August is find-able in his study. "Jack?" He blinks, surprised to see the satyr out of his tavern.

"Hey, you seen the Regent or Steward around? I think the Baroness is out doing the social thing with the Couhnt and Countess"

August nods. "She is. And, no, I've been holed up here with a project or out at work. Is it anything I can help with? I can help you look for them....." He covers the project on his desk and comes out.

"Well, I guess.. I've got a satyr, from Central America... she's a grump, like me... you know? Long story... connections made and all that. I wanted to make sure she could have three nights at least."

"Oh, I'm sure it won't be a problem. I think Derynwydd is in class, I can step out and text her?"

"If you like... me I still don't like texting..feels so impersonal"

"But if she's busy, it's not an emergency"

August grins as he heads for a good spot. "Actually, it's fascinating.... so much of our communication is through body language we had to re-create expressions and postures in emojis. We're back to pictograms."

He sends a quick text.

"Yay progress" the grump is not convinced

August comes back. "Yep! She's fine to stay, according to the Regent."

"Thanks" he says gratefully "Good to have it official."

He shakes AUugst'

August's hand, and says "If you want to meet her, drop on by."

ANd off he goes
