Kerri takes it in stride. "Well, I've heard good things about her, as well."

"See you around, Oswald" He says

"No problem, Rover. Don't forget, that Star Wars karoke night is still open if you or your wife are inter..." Oswald starts to say

"Ah..thanks no, we'll be busy" Her husband says "Terribly terribly busy"

As they walk away, Kerri whispers, "Star Wars karaoke?!"

"YEAH... now you know what Vali might be like with half the funny and two thirds his sex appeal" Olgar mutters "Let's move on"

"I think that's an excellent idea...." and she eagerly keeps pace with him, laughing.

Oswald goes back to his duty. Let others mock. He has a tauntaun

They head towards Jefferson City via a regular uber, skipping the Hoofer... and come to a place labeled 'Greaser' which feels as if you stepped onto a Happy Days set

Kerri is amused by the ambiance. "Sylvi found this? All the way out here? Or...oh, right, Colton."

"Right, Colton... " He shrugs "Apparently he took her here and... well, something that should even imrpess you, and while I'm told it's all good, I didn't bring you here for the the Babydoll Burger, fliptop fries, or a ‘Hip Hoagie’ Reuben sandwich" he reads the menu "Pick your flavor of shake"

Vern strums his guitar, while a boggan lady comes out "Rileybrie, welcome to the Greaser, can I take your order?"

"Hi, Rileybrie. I'm Kerri, and this is Rover Olgar. We're told you have some impressive milkshakes, apparently? I think I'll have....Oh, chocolate and strawberry."

"Oh good choice of a swirl" She beams "You want itsty bitsy tweeny weenie, medium mellow size, or AAAAAY that's big size?"

Olgar says "Give us both the mediums, mine'll just be the chocolate"

He looks at his wife "Assuming you don't mind, we both know if you like yours you might have some of mine anyway"

"I was actually going to suggest tweeny weenie....but...medium mellow is tempting...."

Olgar motions again for the mediums

"Oh by the time you're done you might be kicking yourself you didn't get the Aaaaay that's big size" The boggan smiles "My pride and joy. Two medium mellows, one chocolate strawberry swirl and one chocolate. Anything else?"

"Not for me, thanks, Rileybrie." Kerri smiles at the boggan.

"Nope, I'm in deep enough a hole if this doesn't work out," Olgar says

The boggan sniffs at the implication her shakes wouldn't work out, and goes to retrleive them

Kerri smiles as they're left alone. "Oh, now, c'mon...getting away for a day for milkshakes? You're not in a hole for that, even if they're not great."

"I meant the sharing the fact you will steal my shake if you decide you should have gotten more" A grin "or was that some weird character test on our fourth date?"

"Ahh, well, yeah...the loss of your shake is definitely a risk I'm willing for you to take." She winks at him and rests a hand on his.

"Do you know what today is?" He says throwing her for perhaps a loop

And squeezes her hand

"I...ah...." A frown as she thinks. "What day is it?"

"Tonight is the first anniversary of the first time I hit on you, and you shot me down in glorious crashing flames" Olgar kisses her, "Setting me a path of semi reform and determination to win you over"

She kisses him and laughs. "Oh, the start of a true romance." Another kiss. "Regrets?"

"only that I didn't get my head on straight even faster"

His face is blighted, ugly, but somehow she doesn't see that anymore. Or maybe she does and just doesn't care.

"oh, I'd like my hair back" He touches his shaved head "Other than THAT no regrets"

"Mmm..." She runs a hand over his naked scalp. "I'm okay with this. And it makes a nice beacon when I need to find you in the dark," she teases.

"Hah" He says "You know your way around..." And then, milkshakes are approaching

"I've learned the terrain," she says with a bit of mischief, but then her attention turns to the milkshakes. "Oh, those look good."

Indeed, these are not kept in your average plastic or even paper containers... and they are set down "Two medium, one swirl..." Before Kerri, "one chocolate pure and..." the boggan says "Enjoy" and then withdraws

Olgar says "Same time or you want to go first?"

"Same time, obviously." A smile that makes her seem a bit younger. "On three...one...two...three!" ssssipppp

Good chefs know good.. and even average chefs know great. And Kerri is a GREAT Chef herself so as she drinks down the the most perfect milkshake she has ever had in her life, we can only wonder how she feels to experience the toe curling tongue pleasing life affirming elixer that is one of the Greaser's shakes.

The first sip, she's not expecting much beyond a really good milkshake....but then she has to take a second, serious sip because what the heck just happened to my tastebuds and can it happen again, please!

Olgar has had his first sip, and says "holy shit" Stunned

A wide-eyed look at Olgar, and her third sip is almost reverent.

The two savor their respective shakes , and he says "Baby, ah... is it my imagination or is this the dreaming equivalent of dairy crack?"

She nods. "You are not wrong. These must have been crafted directly in the Dreaming," she mutters. "They've got an enchanted blender or something."

Kerri, as a rule, does not envy or covet lightly. But there is a recipe to this. Somewhere. Or a treasure that produces them... and either can be won or bargained for right?

Yes, but such negotiations must be managed delicately. Olgar can see her starting to make silent calculations....

"Ah, Kerri?" He says not sure about that look.

She doesn't answer him, but waves down Rileybrie. "Okay, now I'm curious...can I try the vanilla? Just a small."
