For Coradel, the revelation that a balor lord has threatened her hold has set her to a fine steam. Leanhaun , Balor, neither house has set well here at Earth Runes

Her chimeric blade doesn't technically need to be sharpened...but the sound is just so satisfying as it resounds in the sparring salle.

It is Dame Honoria , attracted to sounds of grinding metal, that comes up, "Oh, Baroness. How goes?"

"Mm? Oh, delightfully," she smiles with a rather bloodthirsty tone. "And for you?"

"Well I.. well, I have a gentleman caller, and just in time for Beltaine"

Coradel sets down her blade and sharpening stone. "Really! Tell me more. I wasn't aware you were seeing somebody. Where's he from?"

"Well, he's in another baronal hold in the same county," She says with a smile, "Technically errant and unsworn. "A blush "A Nocker Knight of House Dougal. They..well, they aren't often seen as attractive, nockers, but he's very sweet in his way. "

"Oh, I don't know...I suppose it all depends on just how the swirls are placed, doesn't it?" A wink. "He has a name?"

"Of course" She laughs, "Sir Lugano Tickclick, and I don't know where all the swirls are..." A blush "I might learn yet."

"Ticklick? I don't think I've heard the name. What's his art? And if he's Dougal...well, what's his particular nuance, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Clockmaker" she admits "It's not particularly modern I know...but so beautiful.. his work I mean" A blush "And he found me fascinating. " She taps at her breast where her own wind up heart beats

"Oooh, yes, I can see that you might be very well matched. He sets your pulse a bit quick?"

A blush "I am.. he's not my.. I have had an education." Primly "It was very nice"

A smile. "I'm glad to hear it you've enjoyed yourself so far, but am I right that you mean he's not the one who has provided your educational opportunities so far?"

"He wasn't my first" A blush

A curious tilt of her head. "Why the need to blush, though?"

"Not everyone is fiona, my liege"

A smile though

"And not every act of intimacy need be seen as shameful, Fiona or not. BUT...you're still smiling, so I won't fuss at you about it too much. So...you've had your first, your very-nice first as you say, and you have had this Dougal? Or is he a treat yet to be enjoyed?"

BRIGHT blush "Yet to enjoy in that way. We've dated but not.. too often"

A brighter smile. "Then I hope you have an exceedingly pleasant Beltane. Assuming that's what you're hoping for?"

"it is" A nod "And I was wondering if we might have use of the workshop... the rest of the hold might be so crowded.. and I want to show him my.. ah, creative endeavors. You won't be insulted if we depart rather than dance too long?"

"Hmm..." She taps her cheek thoughtfully. "Will I, a Baroness of House Fiona, be insulted if on Beltane you choose to slip away and indulge in sweet and passionate intimacies in the setting of your greatest comfort? Let me seee...."

Moritified

"I not only won't be insulted, but I'll be delighted," she adds for clarity.

"Thank you, Baroness. I..." Footsteps

And Leonora enters the scene "Oh hi you two

Coradel beams. "Hello, Leonora. Coming to spar?"

"Practice, but sparring is fine too. " A grin, "Looking for someone to beat up on, my liege?"

"I might have been a few moments ago, but Dame Honoria has just put me in a very good mood."

"Oh, what about?" Leonora asks

Honoria blushes bright red "No..no need for that"

Coradel gestures to the Dougal, smiling at Leonora. "I can't say, apparently. But...well, 'tis the season for good moods."

"Oh, a Beltaine thing." Leonora winks at them both "GOtcha"

Honoria facepalms

"She's a bit shy about it, but sounds like she'll have fun." Coradel stands and picks up her blade.

Leonora draws her own blade and readies "Oh no doubt. Where there's a Dougal, there's a way" She quotes that House Maxim

More facepalming "Leo-noooraa"

"Ohh, I've said that in certain situations," she says of the Dougal's moan, and winks at her opponent. "Shall we dance?"

And then she makes her advance, swinging lightly and easily, but still making the blade sing in the air.

"Clearly, and you're leading again" Leonora takes a defensive stance, and tries to parry.

"You've never complained." Strike-parry-strike-parry-dodge.

"Oh, I like it when you lead, red" A grin "In dance and in other ways" Counter stroke attempt, thrust, whoops. HEr liege is the better swordswoman, though Leo is improving

A blade-flat slap on Leo's hip, then Coradel is out of reach again, giving another wink.

"The only lady Iknow who spars with a safe word" Leonora jokes and tries to feint.

"You two are so..very extra" The Dougal observes

"Oh! Really! A safe word?" At the implied mock insult, Coradel redoubles her attack, a flurry of strikes.

Block parrry par.. whops one got through Leo gives an "Ow! Okay okay.. I asked for that"

Coradel gives her a moment to catch her breath. "You did. I can kiss it an make it better?" Smiling, her breath quickened with the fighting.
