August looks down. "I suppose we all have moments we're not proud of." He agrees.

"Well, I might not exactly phrase it as an order, per se. But...that's what it'll be, if necessary."

"...and I think we all get a little caught up in our own projects, now and then."

"Things that we might forget to tell our parents about." A little poke at Magnus there.

"Now...I have court this afternoon, and I want to get a ride in before then. Magnus, please do keep me informed about this." She gives August a kiss and rises from the table.

August returns the brief kiss, an unasked question in his eyes.

AHem "Well put. And.. yes, I'll see if Sparrow is game. She knows childlings"

"And children for that matter"

Coradel pauses and keeps August's gaze, giving him the opportunity to ask the question.

"Do you need me for court ... or, ah, anything?"

A slow smile, and she gives him a somewhat more lingering kiss, then murmurs, "Always." Then at a more normal tone, "And yes, for court...and if you'd like to join me for that ride, you're welcome to. I just thought you might have your own scribing you need to do."

August grins. "I'll fit it in." He stands.

Magnus grins "I'll go find Sparrow"

Coradel beams at August, then gives Magnus another quick hug. "Do. If you need me, let me know."

Then she takes August's arm, and off they go to the stables.

" i will" he heads off

August offers his hand to Magnus, and then is dragged off to the horseies.

A chuckle

"Has anyone here seen sparrow?" Magnus almost sing songs

"That's what I want to know" Squire Colton says

'Well, I have to talk to her." Magnus says

"Oh, so do I, but it can wait" Colton says

The boggans, at least, know the Regent is in her suite - sketching away.

"thanks ,Colton" the knight says and then "Thank you, Petal" He says to the maid and knocks on his sister's door

"Come in.."

"Heh, sis, " He comes in "how goes?"

She looks up from her sketchbook and smiles. "Well enough. And you?" Her wings flick and softly drape around her shoulders - relaxed.

"Well, I upset mom by not checking in properly, and I just heard about poor Delores... and what lead to that so a bit stunned but Claire and I got a lot of needed us time. " He looks at the sketch "Nice. " A cough "unfortunately, there is something not so nice I was going to ask you about. I hate to be a debbie downer but...someone could use help"

A gently raised eyebrow. "Yes? Let's see if it's something I could help, sure."

He pulls out his smart phone showing a picture of a ten year old boy with sandy hair, bright eyes. "August Clark Walton. He's been missing for over 48 hours and his parents, mortals, are going out of their mind . He was last seen in a store in Jefferson City. "

She frowns. "That's... two days? That's bad..."

"What store? I'm sure there are police, but..."

"Very" He says "And the store was a hobby lobby. Craft supplies"

Her nose wrinkles. "I know Hobby Lobby. He... was in the store, and then just gone? What do we know?"

"Hobby Lobby doesn't have anything on the security cameras that they could find. The police have been over that with a fine toothed comb. I tried a chronos but it didn't reach as back as far as I liked. " He frowns "I think it was the area. I didn't think a place that sold crafts would be banal but it certainly wasn't as glamour accessible as I thought it would be. His mother was getting yarn. She feels like shit, of course"

"Of course..."

She closes her sketchbook. "I don't... I don't have any special skills that would help here. I can't even willow whisper. But if you want extra eyes to look?"

"I've got a list of the usual suspects, folks on the S.O. List, and so on. Police don't like me butting in but they'll deal. " He says "Actually, there is one area, besides painting, you excel. You're good with kids. And while August W is gone, he has friends his age."

Her wings rustle. "You want me to speak to his friends?"

"You think that's a bad idea?" He asks

"I... well... I'm a stranger."

"As am I... and I'm male. Claire approves of the latter, but even when I tell folks I'm a PI most don't want a strange man going near their kids. It's sexist, but there you have it. I could ask Claire to do iit, but I worry she'll draw a sword and start asking 'Okay punk, where were you on the night of dot dot dot'"

"Ohhhh, so could I."

"Do we know of any family issues? Estranged relatives?"

"The mother and father seem very loving, i know I can be fooled, but they seem solid. There are grandparents, but they are in another aprt of the state, the police have already called them. There's an Aunt, but she's over seas...and has been. Military."

She nods. "Stranger abductions are rare, aren't they? I remember reading that once..."

"Do they have a church, or does he play sports?"

"He likes hockey, and they have taken him to games. Favorite team the Philly flyers and yes, Stranger Abductions are very rare. Normally its a friend of the family or ..worse, someone in the family themselves. " he agrees

"And they only go to church about once a month..non denomiantional place"
