Currently then, Leonora notices that folks have been sad, particularly among the boggans of the hold. Mr. Wisp's end is something to celebrate for some, but it seems the man was something of a legend. For now, she comes off patrol, "You'd think a knight would have wall duty less often" wryly. In truth she doesn't mind too much. Archers can use high positions after all

August looks up from his papers. "Talk to Coradel. She'll listen."

"Oh hey August.. " She says, almost.. cautiously, which is odd for a Fiona "Nah, I'm just grousing.. Rougher on Thistlesnort than me. "

He grins. "Oh, well, we can't have that. Thistlesnort is a good guy. "

"He can hang below," She assures, then says "You're smiling, that's good to see. Uhm... may I ask you a question that might sound loaded but I still want you to be honest?"

"Aaaahhhh....... sure?"

"Well, I know for awhile you were very...tense, with Coradel gone, and I made offers but you didn't in good concsience feel you could take me up. Then...you got really, cold it felt..not banal, but superstand offish....and then she showed up, and I thought great, second honey moon sort of...but since then..." A contused look "Did I do something to get zoned?"

"Leonora....." He stands and walks to her, takes her in his arms, kisses her warmly. "I'm so sorry. I apologize from the depths of ... well, me."

"I didn't mean to give you that impression. No. Not at all. Unless you wish.....?"

She returns the kiss just as as warm, parts and strokes his face, "It's okay. I try to respect that what we have is great. I get to be with two people I quite enjoy it's just..lately it's like you've been avoiding me. And maybe avoiding Coradell as well, and that latter alarms me."

"No, no... Coradel and I have a sort of an anniversary on Labor Day and we went away and.... well, I'm at school now."

"Oh, well, anniversery I figured, but..." Relief "Good. Long as you two have reasons... okay. So, are we still on now and then when you're not studying your brains out or with Coradel?"

"Of course." He keeps his arms around her. "I will make a point to make time when I am here."

A kiss "Fair, and if you and Coradel have plans , well 3 is a wonderful number except when it isn't. So let me know and I'm cool okay" She snuggles in '"How are classes by the way?"

He tips her head to his and kisses her, Cassanova-ish. "Well. Chem is a bit of trial, but the interpretation class is great." He grins.

"Well, you are a cunning linguist" her eyes dance

A very slow moment in his eyes. "That's.... a pun, right?"

"Uh huh," mischievous "A naughty one. Go ask a grown up to explain it if the're not teaching it in class."

He nods, thinking, and takes a deep breath. "Leonora, could we go to your room? I would like to take you to bed." Quietly.

She lowers her lashes suddenly demure, but smiling still, "I would like that, yes. Please escort me"

"Of course, if you like." And he does "My sincerest apologies if I have not... attended you properly. I'm ok on some things but still learning.... balance."

"As long as you don't neglect Coradel, the rest is a matter of... little moments here and there" She assures and walks with him, arm in arm. When they get to her room...she pulls him in and closes the door. A moment later, the door opens again, and thistlesnort finds himself slid out into the hallway.

"Sorry guy but.... mmmph..."

Thistlesnort snorts, and goes to sleep outside.
