Her nose twitches, the tip pink. "Do you wish to be a crooked hoss, mon cherie?"

"I..hi. No?" Leonora says "I'm Dame Leonora ap Fiona, this is Dame Claire ap Ailil. Together, we fight crime"

"And get your leg busted leaping for a chandelier" Claire mutters

"I'm Batman, oui." She's up from her seat, bare feet soft as she pads across the floor. "You have sea legs!"

"Normally I have shapely legs...really, it'll be fine..." Leonora looks a bit embarrassed, "There was this chandelier, and a movie where a guy swung from one..."

"Oh, FINE, she says! If you wish to be syncopated all your days..."

She bites on her lower lip, worried for a moment. "Madame Delores, the fire..."

"While I am a most august emissary and long-time friend of Earth Runes, could I..."

"Your Lioness is crooked."

"Surely, and Leonora, my word" The steward frowns "You hold still and let folks look!"

"The fire would leave you in Pisa, and not Missouri. Leaning, oui?" She demonstrates with an exaggerated pose.

"Fine fine.. but don't tear the leggings, this is my best..." Leonora blinks as the Ailil whips out a knife and cuts that leg loose "Damn it, CLaire"

She slips in between the pair, placing a hand on Claire's arm to stay her. "Maybe we could all sit down for a nice chit-chat?"

"Oh that, sure..." Claire smirks

Her merry expression has grown subdued, and she offers her shoulder to Leo's other arm. "With a fire, you can be quick or slow... I suppose there's a thermostat, somewhere... but it bakes wherever it's at."

"Okay okay..." They limp her over to the fire, "Don't know why you're being so mean, Claire."//'Because you maybe immune to fear, but I'm not and you scared me. Jerk."

"Down. Shoo." Two orders, for the Fiona and Ailil in turn. From... a commoner pooka? Some little grey mouse?

Claire raises a brow, but Leonora seems more used to commoner orders and lays as directed, a bit fussy about it but obeying

Emma runs a hand along the sidhe's leg, feeling for the break - while her hands are calloused, she's gentle and careful. "Would that I had a little green candle... I fear I've got to save up all my punchcards for a free coffee, at least for now.."

"mmm" a grunt of pain from the Fiona

looks like she found the spot

"This might pinch a little." One hand presses down on Leo's thigh while the other grabs and YANKS her leg. For a moment, the sidhe's nerves are afire in pain, but it is followed by a pop and a throbbing sensation as the leg is forced in line.

"Kardashian wanna be!" She cries out then, gasps "Sorry sorry, that was rude of me, that just ..ouch"

"That's your idea of cursing?" Claire stares "I swear more over burnt toast"

"Have you a cookie for a mouse? I promise to give it right back..."

"Delores, mon cherie? A candle?"

Delores brings cheese, and a candle "I hope I got that right"

Her ears flatten, tail drooping. "Oui..."

"Sorry, " Delores says "My pooka skills are limited"

"A band-aid and a mother's kiss is all she needs. In three days of fire-mend, surely, it won't jostle or bend. I've been travelling these three long years, and have gobbled up all my Hersheys on the road..."

"Bell book and candle I've heard of, Cheese not so much"

"If... if I could make some s'mores, by the fire, I could share them with this lamed Secritariat..."

"Oh my head" the Steward sighs //"Sticks, I think she mean's sticks. WSe're already by the balefire..."

That last from Claire

"But is it my fire?"

"Oh, " Delores says "I am so sorry dear...here, how about some dross" She reaches in and pulls out a yo yo with a smiley face on it. It does indeed contain glamour

"And yes, you can sleep in the hold tonight and recover some glamour if you need it"

"Quicker than sand, cher. Merci." She takes the yo-yo, and looks at Leo. "May I?"

"Sure, just don't hit me in the head with it. It's that kind of day" Leonora sighs

She tuts. "Fais dodo, Yo-yo mon p’tit frère
Fais dodo, t’auras du lolo
Maman est en haut

Qui fait du chocolat
Fais dodo, Yo-yo mon p’tit frère
Fais dodo, t’auras du lolo..." the pooka sings, and wraps the yo-yo's string around the sidhe's injured leg.

Leonora holds still

Once she's done, she SNAPS the string in two - and as it breaks, glamour flares and the sidhe's bones knit.

"Oooo hey that feels nice..." Leonora says as her leg heals up very well.

"Yeah, it doesn't look like a purple and yellow yule log." Claire observes as it goes to pink

Emma bundles up the dimmed remnants of the dross and holds them out to Delores. "A most unusual s'more."

"Mmm yes. You know," The steward says "That brief trouble with communication aside, and that was as much on me as you- you did very well dear. " SHe takes it, "You wanted a job? How about I suggest to the Baroness we hire you on as either Gardener or healer...what do you think? "

She grins, ears up. "Por que no los dos?"

"OR you could hire me as a thane! Nobody would expect a possum inquisition... except Oswald, of course, but he knows."

"I don't see why not," The Steward says "Now you'd have a room to stay at when you need it, and three squares a day, and of course, balefire is nice to be close to. They do insist on a week off away from the hold out of even month to keep Bedlam at bay.... and there's a payment of cash as well, not a lot, but fair wages. Or dross if you prefer"

She whistles. "Why, that's an insulting offer. I'll take it."
