Meanwhile, his head has been drooping slowly, and by now, it is pillowed on his arms. His tail switches back and forth a bit, as his eyes flutter shut.

"Oh, we tired him out..." She drapes the Lion with her hoodie as a sketchy kind of blanket.

"Either that or he's faking it and hoping someone will cuddle him pillow like" The boy says suspiciously "I think this one is sneaky. Nice, but sneaky."

A soft rumble of purrs, as he (apparently, for he is Sneaky) dozes.

STILL eyeballing him, but then "I think I like him. Even if I don't understand him."

"Who ever understands a pooka?" She shrugs. "I like him, too. Okay, admitting defeat. Bedtime for baronesses."

"I should sleep too. Night."

"Night Cole. Glad you like the book."

"I love it." He heads off. Leaving a slumbering pooka behind
