School was exciting and wonderful for Sparrow, creative minds, teachers...art! but it was also nerve shaking at times. And she did find her focus drift now and then, thinking about those kids

So naturally, returning to Earth runes after class was definitely a priority. Good news? Colton was on watch

Sparrow hikes in from the trods, homework tucked into a shoulder bag. Kids, yes, but homework too. It seems unlikely that she'll see the house much with her duties here.

Inish greets her "I would announce you, but no real court going, Chancellior. I can up date you if you like?"

"How are the kids? Ruby?"

"Some concerns with malnutrition, and of course, balefire doesn't cure near starvation, but ssome of them are on solid foods already. Ruby hangs close to Olgi, snaps at everyone, but I've got a hand on her "He says with a smile, "Being a clurichaun myself."

"Secret is to let her have plenty of bark but to warn her about biting along with it."

"Well, I think she and Olgi were friends, and Olgi seemed to be in worse shape than the other living ones."

"She is. " A nod, "But talking a bit more."

"I understand the urge to self-sacrifice, but I also know how scary and frustrating it can be when someone seems intent on martyring themselves. Talking is good."

"Aren't you Liams known for being a bit martyry yourselves?" he raises a brow

"...A bit, yes."

"mm" A chuckle

"Hence my experience with it. I picked up some crayons and coloring books - you don't think they're too old, right?"

"Some of them maybe, but many no. Oh, the pooka sibs are quite attached to Baroness Coradel. Seems they've decided they like her. Odd, didn't see the Lady as maternal, meaning no offense to her given her relation with you"

"Well, I don't really remember much of Arcadia. Or being a child with her. I am older than her."

"True, and noticed. Do you need some food ? Jennette and others ahve been 'hinting'"

"I eat! I had lunch!"

"I'll make sure Delores doesn't sic the squad on ye then" he assures. "Oh, that squire of yours is a good one. Been keeping the kids entertained."

"They love his arm"

"Well, it's a pretty cool thing."

"Fred the eshu has been wandering around very nosily so if you see him a hallway remind him this used to be an Eiluned hold?"

"So plenty of places to explore!"

"I think the doors still like to lock on their own..."

"Oh that? heh. Yes" Inish chuckle "Though ever since Coradel took over, some of them seem to enjoy opening juuust a little. Fiona thing I'm assuming?"

"Teasing, yeah" A wry smile.

"Going to take some getting used to" Inish admits, "Sometimes I think I'm too old for this. Change is for the young or unseelie. I'm neither you know?"

"I know. But some things aren't big changes...."

"Though finding a warder will be good, if we keep getting more in the brood..."

"Agreed. It's become soemthing of a priority."

"Is there a local who would be suited? I still... I'm an outsider here, you know?"

"Some are already applying. No one I would say stands out."

"Hm. Okay."

"I'll make sure you get the list"

"Speaking of changes. This, Imbolc..."

He listens

"I'm glad there's some consistency, and I really appreciate you and Shalimar sticking it out."

"Oh, Shalimar has been here since a lad, this is home for him. And he is fond of the Baroness because they both loved the old baron in their way"

She nods. "Yes. They are part of the fabric here."

Delores walks up "Oh, you're back. I'll get some food. Fish or chicken?"

Her wings flick. "I'm okay..."

"She had lunch" Inish adds

"Lunch? But by now..." The steward fusses, "Surely you're hungry again?"

Inish sighs "You can pester here when I'm done with her, Steward. Herald stuff going on you know?" Firm chin

"...Chicken, please?"

"Chicken" She nods, gives a'so there' look to the Herald, then says "it'll be ready for you in less than half an hour " bows and departs

Inish waits until she's gonee, then smiles, "Boggans, bless em. Sorry if I sounded mean to her but it sounded like you might not want to be hassled right away. WHich, if 'I' am doing that, let me know?"

"You aren't. And she... she isn't. I think she'd be more upset if I turned her down."

"Like, she'd figure I was hungry, so trying not to be demanding would instead be an insult?"
