"the child? The..." He pauses, "The child is gone. She must have run. I don't even know who the mortal child was." He's unaware she was fae to be.

She groans, both with pain and frustration. "Have to find her. Pre-crysalid."

"What? you go then..." He binds her wounds, "Leave something to your mentor." And he kisses her on the forehead and presses her nose "Boop." Snapping a bit of drosss.

She starts off in a random direction to search, but she gasp and her legs buckle beneath her, landing her on her knees.

And she finds herself flickering and.. that son of a ... she finds herself before the Balefire of Earth Runes. Dame Leonora turns to see her, "Holy shit!" And moves to her side

A deep breath and a smile. "Thank you." Heartfelt...and then she's gone.

Back in EarthRunes, she catches her balance, bracing a hand on Leo's shoulder.

"Need healing..."

"Must of been one hell of party" She calls for healers, and escorts her to sit down. Thanks to this, Coradel will not fade, not 'die' chimerically or otherwise. But she does curse as she feels soothing salves and sedatives.

She does indeed...and demands to know as soon as Bachdion is back, and where's Delores, and so on.

Imperious she is, but alas, consciousness is needful for issuing commands and..zzzz

Yup...out like a very angry light.

Coradel wakes up, in her own bed, that's nice. Wait, was she... the memories of last night come flooding in. She's healed, clearly , cleaned, and in her usual sleeping attire.

She doesn't stay in bed long. She flings back the sheets and gets up to get dressed. Quick and simple clothing, a brush of the hair, minimal make up...enough to be presentable, but she MUST talk to Bachdion and the Baron and Delores and...oh, hell, everybody.

She nearly trips over the basselope

The antlered basset thing yawns and goes 'wuff'

"What in the...?" She stops and stares, trying to place the thing in her still-waking-up memory. "You're Leonora's, aren't you?"

The basselope wags its tail in canid affirmation.

"Then why are you here? Go on, you may find your mistress."

A LARGE yawn that seems to cause a minor breeze, then it lets back and WOOF WOOF WOOF! three times

She blinks at that. "Well...fine. Stay if you like, but I must get ready." And she returns to dressing.

She doesn't seem at all concerned with the basselope's gaze.

There's a knock at the door, "Hey, you're up. Dame Leonora here. I left Thistlesnort as an alarm."

"Oh, come in!" She's at least got undergarments on. "He nearly served equally well as a speed bump."

A quick check of her torso in the mirror...scarring?

"Yeah, he's lethal," She says coming in, "But seeing as he helped save your life I figure you wouldn't really mind." Leonora bends down to pet him.

There is a thin moon hued s scar on her belly. No doubt from her deepest wound.

She frowns at the scar. Well, it can't be helped, and she selects a simple robe to slip into. "He did? How did he do that?"

"He licked you. Apparently he can heal a little. Some Chimera can do that. Who knew?"

She blinks, then looks at the basselope dubiously. "Well. Thank you." Then she smirks at Leonora. "There aren't a lot of tongues that have had the pleasure." Brushing hair and slipping on slippers.

Leonora , a fellow Fiona, breaks out laughing, "the Baron got a full report from Sir Bachdion"

"Do you know if Bachdion is back? And is Delores okay? And the Baron, he's well?"

BIC: 'Delores is fully healed, Mad at Bachdion though."

"He did what I needed him to do. Mostly. Do you know if he found the mortal child?" Blush, mascara, lip tint.

"He came back late but alone" She answer.

"DAMMIT." A final check in the mirror, and then she heads for the door, pauses, and crouches down to offer a hand for the Basselope to shake. "My thanks again for your service and aid."

The Basselope shakes

"You okay?" The Fellow Fiona asks at the DAMMIt

"We need to find that child. Where's Bachdion?"

"Resting up , the baron has other knights looking for her. But she was outside the fief and for some reason he's not really wanting the County on this. Eiluned Holds, am I right? Everything's a conspiracy."

"No...he's right. The Count mustn't know. Oh! Oh, I have to...has anybody checked on Lady Derynwydd?"

"Sparrow? No. Why?"

"If I was targeted, she may be as well. And...if they took Delores..." She hunts for her phone, finds it on the bedside table, calls August.
