From the book, Lily looks up "Endora does not sound like a nocker name to me either, Miss River"

"Endora is a hebrew name... Nockers taught Yiddish speakers how to curse. do the math, little sister" Sister Flame snorts at the childling

"Sluagh always know the truth, Miss Lily. But we may be discreet."

"I believe I am the only Hebrew here, Sister Flame. Am I nocker, then?"

Minerva looks amused "I think I'll go see the owls"

"Bah, exception that proves the rule..." Flame says happy to argue

Lily looks a BIT Contrite, noddin to Zara about being discrete

Clem pulls out something stronger to drink than tea

"Besides, Endora's magic worked flawlessly...." Oh so polite, but Zara, raised by Nockers, knows how to argue for fun.

"Yeah? Stories say she HURLED Curses.. who curses better than a nocker, you narrow assed Mets loving scibbbler.. who would even HEAR her hurl a curse if she were a sluagh?"

"Oh boy," Yup. Clem's got coffee and put a drollop of whiskey in it

Her grey lips quirk into a grin, and it's on!

Of course, both have a grand time, Zara knows just how to egg on a nocker and, well, nockers arre COMFORTABLE being furious and riled . And has some good digs of her own that Zara may want to note. Clem? Clem gets a nice buzz.
