"If she was, I witnesses it not, only her panic and grief and confusion as she swore to her innocence using the magic to escape punishment for a crime sh claimed she did not commit"

"Gilly did seem too convenient a pawn."

"Great, only hundreds of suspects to go"

"So, she got these as a gift from the slain namer... delayed cantrip.. PROBABLY meant to throw folks off her trail, she didn't realize, let's hope, it might have them wonder off the trod"

"Indeed. So - the wall is to protect others from this..."

"Actually practical..." He admits "Perhaps we're being unfair to their graces, or whoever they have in charge of security. Before you unweave it, may I give it a go?"

Zara nods.

And he gestures and chants “Under the thinning fog the surf curled and creamed, almost without sound, like a thought trying to form inself on the edge of consciousness.”

And images flow, A redheaded satyress, Gilly, throwing down the cantrip crystals to expend that one time enchant ment on them... as she ran... "Oh please, baby, tell me these weren't just to make me FEEL safe" //it rewinds further, running back , she's pulled something out.. a map? but can they make it out in this shared backward glance?

Zara has sharp eyes!

SO she does... the map is of Concordia... it has dots.. one is the DeBuke farm, another in Connecticut, and one at the Nevada California border.

"Common holds..."

"DeBuke farm we both know, ah, the common wealth.. at the Duchy level, but proven to be porous. What's This one? between Nevada and Cali?"

"Likely not for you, Magnus."

"We we are not so easily blocked, you and I" a smile on his face "But it's not hard to guess she's hoping noble pressure would be off at each of these"

"Well, they think she murdered their Namer."

"Yes. And if she IS guilty she's a master actress"

"Why act for a cantrip? Nay, methinks she is a patsy."

"Yes, agreed, that's far more likely. Who better than a lover to get close?" A look "Unweave those at your lieasure.. they're a hazard currently"

Zara nods and gets to work. It is an almost trance-like state as she focuses on her magic so deeply.

And the overlaying enchantment is undone

She only wilts a little!

"There."

"Do you need some glamour?" He offers

"We are swimming in it!"

"Don't shout" he says to the whisperer with a smile "You just looked a bit wilty"

"Unweaving is complicated."

"Quite" A nod "but somone will owe you for removing those threats"

"Doubtful."

"So - what have you learned, so far?"

"Well... namer dead, two lovers .. one , Gilly, the suspected murderess... and a more respectable sidhe lover...who turns out to be Leanhaun and very likely a spy on the Duchess and Duke. A poisoning, a mysterious collapse of the Namer's floor on top if it all"

"Collapsing floor seems very odd."

"And why do both?"

"exactly... a failed attempt to kill the namer? If my floor collasped under me I thinkn I'd be a bit too paranoid for poisoning after, but if the poison came first and worked, then the floor indicates another target or goal. "

"Aye."
