They move along. The Dreaming unfolds as they do indeed pass by a forest near the river. Cyprus and willows, but no white ones

"I do wish these memories were easier to hold. I feel more complete here." She offers.

"it's.. a bit of a trap" Zane says "A sphere is grand, but it also loses it's edge, it's point. We feel more complete, let lose the energy to move ourselves and others."

"Aye. Timeless."

A figure steps onto the trod, he appears to be an Asian dream, scarred about one eye Flames dance from his finger tips as he clenches them into a fist "I will find the Avatar, and restore my hono... Oh. I think I'm in the wrong part of the Dreaming."

"Prince Zuko." A bow.

He shifts to look like later seasons, and bows back "Pardon me, but have any of you seen a strong elemental dream??"

She ponders and shakes her head. "Nymphs and kelpies."

"Curious. I wonder what's got me manifesting." he poses with determination "It doesn't matter! Someone is in trouble and I will help them!"

"Good luck with it."

"Could be the fires in the west" Earl says "Folks are scared. Some have lost a lot. I don't know if it helps...a fire dream fighting fire, but in the Autum World dreamers might..."

Zuko nods "I will head west, thank you ungainly but noble blue giant man"

"Ah! Aye. Fire to fight fire."

Zuko bows "You have done me a service. Perhaps I can return it?"

"We're looking for a white willow?" Zane shrugs

"Ah, further on.. and to your left, it is hidden by shadow but if your eyes are keen, you will find it. " Zuko says

Sparkle!

And he departs... all broody and wounded yet noble inside

"Damn it.. he's sexy" The satyr finally says

"Oh.. is he?"

"Okay? Just me then?" The satyr asks

In answer, Zara takes Earl's hand.

Earl squeezes it, and looks flattered "Let's find my lady her white willow"

Zara presses forward - quite curious to see this Broomer.

And sure enough to the left path in a patch of shadow, her keen eyes notice a thin streak of trod winding to to the trees and... yes, there's a white willow.

Ahead! She is quiet AND wispy... hard to follow when she's not makign an effort to be seen.

Earl says "love, be care..." But she's already winding her way towards it. "Ful" he says

"And she says I'm rash?" Zane mutters

And Zara finds it, a thin shop half hidden in the trees even at this angle, with a small broom swinging like a shop sign would.

A gentle rap on the lintel.

The door opens and a fellow opens it

A bow from the pale witch.

He is a boggan , but his craftsman edwardian garb combo makes him seem more expected

"Squire." A traditional title for a broom-maker, the old names.

He smiles at this, "Please, mistress customer, enter... I see now why you'd be here... enter, and please, the gents as well. " He steps back... and allows room the entry is narrow, but as is often the case, the shop is bigger on the inside than the out. And the merchandise is... booming. Brooms. Brooms, and more brooms "You are clearly a witch of distinction to come to me. Some will just grab any old cleaning stick with bristles.... but you know that you have to find not just A broom, but the right one. "

A nod, trying to be refined and not over-eager.

"Black Oak, White Willow, Red Rowan.. and more woods are used, often to the specifications of the customer" The man says

A slow nod. A little 'may I?" gesture before she touches one.

"By all means. The ones on that wall clean things on their own, useful... but the big sellers are the fliers, of course"

Another fervent nod!

A look - those, there, those must be the fliers?

"Good eye, young mistress" The Squire says "Now, a few of these have cores of something extra... a notion I would like to stress I did far before the fiction of a certain Potterverse's wands. This can alter the nature of the flight.. if I might , for example? " He pulls one "This one has the feather of a great owl within, and thus is a silent flier. This one" he gestures "Has the talon clippings of a griffin for being more manuverable. But everyone here is quality"

Zara nods, but her hands are drawn to a pale hawthorn broom - the wood a white-ish grey, the "thorn' of "Oak, Ash & Thorn."

"Oh, how did.. yes, a good choice that one , miss... well suited to your kith if I may dare say? For it can trail a low fog if you wish while it flies near the ground. And the core of it..."

Head-tilt?

"From the tail of a very special ghost horse chimera.." he explains "Some don't understand how rare... you see, it's a tail strand from a ghost horse ridden by a Headless Horseman steed. These are DECIDEDLY hard to get a hair from.. oh, are you familiar with the tale of the Headless horseman? RIpping good yarn"

Zane looks over some brooms , but at that, mutters "Okay, seems kind of weak compared to the griffin clippings"

She rubs thumb against forefingers - price?
