The Narwhal breaks the surface and comes out in the Dreaming.

Dag was holding her breath.

"This is... lovely" Siv looks about at the tropical land "Looks a bit like that old cartoon but more... well more better cooler" She says

Indeed, the tranquil blue waters shimmer for miles, and a golden sanded shore is nearby.

"It's pretty..."

"I always thought the song was kind of sad."

"It is, but I understand in some cartoons and such he just went to helping other kids... but I'm not sure which version we got so.... assuming this is the island..." her eyes drift to "oh what the heck?" She points. Dagmar sees it. Another ship has already docked. Looks like a large barge.

"Well, we can't expect to be the only boat..."

"To the same honalee? what are the odds? We should hit the shore but keep your weapon handy"

"Well, maybe this is the only Honalee?"

"Maybe" They do get to shore, the island is almost magically inclined so a ramp works fine despite a dock, they barely get their legs wet.

"...Do you think Puff is here?"

"I hope so. I mean, there's a lot about the Narwhal I don't know, but I hope this is his cave... and if he's not in it, maybe helping another kid, yeah?"

The foot steps from the other ship vary but some look sunk pretty heavy in the sand.

"...the song had pirates?"

"It did..something about pirate ships lowering their flags when Puff roared out his name..."

"Maybe they're pirates?"

"Let's find out" Siv starts moving more quietly, softer steps. For a troll, she's not bad.

Dag is.. well, a troll.

STOMP SMOSH ...

fortunately, they're not the loudest sounds

Before them, a great cave can be seen! it's really a handsome looking cave, as caves go... almost smiling... and not in the 'i will eat you' way.

It's the sounds coming out of it that are wrong...

"Flank him! Flank him!" A voice says

"My dictum didn't work!" another

"...Dictum?" Scowl.

"That wouldn't be pirates, I don't think." She draws Flyswatter and presses closer.

"Unless it's the pirate king..." Siv abandons stealth and picks up the pace. The two of them advance to see something straight out of a D&D game...

IF everyone were playing evil characters.

A troll with spiked armor and green skin swings a great sword into the side of the dragon.

A sidhe woamn in sanguine robes appears to be playing the part of the sorceress...she gestures and icy spikes slam from the other side.

From the front, a redcap with two hand axes strikes at the target.

And clambering on the dragon's back is a nimble looking piskie with a wicked grin

and the dragon? It's puff! Roaring and thrashing... but crying in pain too as he fights

"HEY!" She bellows, indignant.

The redcap turns around, "Who the .. who invited more?"

PUff gasps and uses the distraction to kick out at the unseelie troll.

The Sidhe turns "It wasn't me. Back off! No kill stealing"

"Leave him alone. That's fuckin' PUFF. You don't kill Puff!"

"Watch us" The Piskie stabs two daggers into PUff's head. Before he can press, Siv is leaping up there with Wayfare and knocking him away.

A grunt. "So the other way." She lets Flyswatter swing like a great bat - aiming to knock the redcap away into the nearby sea.

The redcap wasn't wearing as much armor as the troll... which in this case just means he's got less wait. Dagmar's blow strikes him with the staff part and knocks the wind out of him even as it sends him up into an arc , over and ...into the water...

"You bitch!" The sidhe turns on Dagmar, her left eye serpentine and fixed, perhaps even unseeing, "You take one of my warriors?I take yours. You are drafted! Attack the dragon !"

She turns to face the ogre next. He's the biggest one, Dagda demands it.

And dictum grips the poor Gwydion...

but can she... resist?!!

A grunt. "His blade defends the helpless, His might upholds the weak..."

She stubbornly continues her drive to the other troll.

"It's a goddawned GWYD" The ogre grins, "But at least she's a challenge" and they clash, for once, it seems she's met someone as strong as she is

Siv and the 'rogue' Piskie have a different sort of fight... dodge, dip, twist and parry!
