#dreaming

The name carries on a chimerical wind, blowing along peaceful paths until it buffets a trod and flows inward....

the breeze stays on the silver...for a time, but eventually slips from it...and becomes a gust, swirling through the dreaming's wilder lands.

through the the great wood it slows again, broken and battered by angry oaks and frowning pines... the trees grow more sharp, northern... as the landscape resembles something nordic... nordic...but increasingly barren.

along the rough and scrabble stones rises hills and mountains...

but those hills have only the roughest plantlife at all.... and the goats seem to give it wide birth. Ice cold rain, sleet, not able to become snow JUST Yet... falls ...and lightning flickers in the horizon.

Somehow, the last of the breeze manages to whisper that name between thunderbursts.

A name, the owner recognizes...

and out of a cave a scarred snout extends, and it's nostrils sniff the breeze for a scent it knows well (Though not nearly so well as the taste that might come after "Trolls...." A tongue licks out and slurps back

"It has been some time ssssince I have dined on... trollssss." Another slurp sound "Far.. far too long"

"out with the old..." A flick of a claw, and out scatters the bones of a warrioress giant... not a speck of meat on the skeleton "And in with the new. hahahahah"
