"Pineapple and MUSHROOM? EUGH!"

"Don't you know how mushrooms GROW?"

Briar looms close and says, "Everyone knows that when a Sluagh scares someone to death, they drag the corpses down to their lairs and grow mushrooms from their guts."

"Muahahah! Corpse-fungus!" She chews open-mouthed at Briar.

"Blech! Even I have limits!" She grouses, as she puts away another slice of bacon, sausage, pepperoni, ham, canadian bacon and ground beef pizza.

Hearth Kourtney ccomes in with groceries for healthy meals and wonderful home made... she blinks at the pizza being eaten , "Honestly, if something is wrong with my cooking.... you need t otell me."

Briar belches, "You never give big enough portions."

A soft sigh "So says every redcap I ever met, but I did ask," The Hearth admits.

"I mean, it just showed up. Can't waste pizza, that's a class b misdemeanour."

"Food shouldn't go to waste, true," Kourtney relents, "All right you two... enjoy your meal. I'm going to make some sweet tea, let me know if want some."

"Never!"

"Uh, Miss K? I think I saw some kid steal a bike that was off by the left soybean field. A stranger rode off on it heading due west."

"It was the shiny red huffy with the bell."

"OH! Is that where it went !! I'll send the storm after it. Thank you, Briar! That's very helpful! Later I'll make some donuts to repay you for that."

This racket, vampires or not, has paid off big for Briar!

She offers Briar a quiet fist-bump.

Briar BEAMS and bumps back.

"Which ones do you hate more, powdered sugar or jelly?" Briar whispers to AMity.
