"We could go to Australia." She climbs up onto Les's back, clinging on like said creature.

"Huh, they probably have pigeons there of some sort, you guys are like rats... with wings." He grunts as she climbs on "You sure you want on my back? I'm gonna be slinging shit willy nilly."

She wrinkles her nose.

"Maybe you could be like Hercules?"

At that, he grins "THAT would be hilarious."

"He had to clean out these stables, right? Except they hadn't been cleaned in a hundred years. Maybe two? I dunno, it was in Percy Jackson times, like, the 1980s."

"There IS a creek...."

"Yeah I remember dad telling that story, trhe rated PG version anyway... and..." He looks at her, "on one hand I know youre trying to get me in trouble, on the other hand, this could be too awesome not to try."

Choices choices, whether tis better to do the responsible thing and by doing so carry on in quiet dignity, or to do the AWESOME thing, and face the wrath infamy brings... that is the question!

"Mom told us how to dig a line once , didn't she?" there is construction involved in her work.

"Plenty of times.." He eyes the shovel, "Huh." Well.. then, it seems that settles it, "It's kind of a matter of heritage now. I mean, ssurely the DeBukes would understand THAT."

Gentle reader behind the 4th wall, we will not go into the details of how cantrips and a shovel can do a lot to move a small stream for a time. we wont' go into a cantrip that might allow a redcap to become huge, and thus, the amount of stuff he can fit into his mouth to increase with it (Pro Tip, Go Ask Alice and Redcaps go well together!) , or possibly how portal passage can divert allow water through it if you have the right nature levels. Let us simply say that within a mere hour... well, shit gets moving! As if given permission to join in the prank, a certain stream rediverts through a stable and does indeed clean out ALL the shit...

and that's the nicest way to describe this, as a certain pooka may get the laugh of her life as trolls at first don't notice this, but then, a full blown panic erupts.. The Great Cap Crap Caper of 26, some will call it, not fair, for a pooka thought of it (Or maybe it was some greek guy) first. BUt names stick.

Amity tries to help, though neither her magics nor her back are so well suited to the labor.

If Briar is out there, she might get to laugh her ass off too, but she's not really noticed by the DeBukes... who keep stating the obvious! They do, Amity notices many of them see the 'flood' and it's cargo coming and call out "Oh Shit!" and "Crap!" ... really, no wonder folks think trolls are simple folk if they blurt what's clearly there like that.

Though if the Crap is HOLY or not, awell, that's a matter for each kithain to decide according to his or her own creed.

Les laughs his ass off, of course, worth every drop of glamour he spent. Seldom has Amity recieved so many openly warm pats and signs of pride and affection.

She's got a happy warble rumbling in the back of her throat. Mom calls it the pidge-purr.

While not getting there in time to 'save the day'... they do get an image of why they Call Clem Chief... Mastery of primal is an amazing thing, and Clem, when she gets there (Again a bit late) sets her jaw, makes a motion like an IRATE moses, and the land itself RESHAPES back to it's original form... did she just elderform over 20 square feet like it was nothing?

"Shit," Les says under his breath "Sis, that is .. that's the big stuff."

"No, that was shit."

"Which isn't in the barn, neither, isn't it not?"

"Nope. Job done," Her brother offers a fist bump.

Fist-bump! Les is so cool!

Clem's jaw is set, and her eyes a bit dark "Let's... get things back to normal, then everyone shower. That is an order." And she glances around looking for.. ah, there they are, the guests from Nifflehiem.

"Better part of valor, sis... which is to say we back away slow," Les advises his sis and proceeds to show by example.

"Coo-cool."

CLem does not approach them. Half of being a good leader is knowing when you are NOT in the right head space to judge fairly.

Later, "So you see, you really need to talk to your son and daughter." Clem says as calmly as she can to Mrs. Novak and Mr. Novak after explaining... / "HAHAHA" / AFTER Explaining... / "Hehheh.." / "Mr. Novak, could you stop laughing? " Clem says coolly. / "Sorry.. heh. Ahem." / Lumenesa nods she does not look as amused as her husband "I will have words with my son about this, I am NOT happy at this mishap, rest assured on that, Chief."/ Relief floods Clem, at least one parent gets it, she nods, and leaves. / Immediately after she is gone, MRs. Novak turns on her son "Les Karel Novak! Wat the furk?"/ "It's was Amity's idea!" NOW he throws her under the bus "From Hercules... the original story and.../ "Furk that!" His mom hissises, "I'm talking about a ROUNDED passage instead of a reinfornced square notch... you would have pumped it a LOT further maybe into another stable or pigsty if you'd just remembered the proper way to lay a mini canal! I raised you better!" / "Sorry mom," Les says seeing her point. It really could have cut clean through a couple of buildings if he'd done that.

Amity makes a show of taking notes.

Her father however walks over to her and gives her a hug , laughing again.

Amity latches on tight. "You shoulda SEEN it, Da! Whoosh, and it was all like the Bellagio of Bullcrap."

"The Bellagio of Bullcrap, you say?!" he grins "And here I thought it was horseshit, but I bet there were bulldroppings too. You listen to the stories dad read you. I thought I was boring you!" he seems pleased.

Neesa looks her her husband and rolls her eyes, "Looking strong there, honey."

"I never listen. Lies."

Her father nods to both his wife and his little girl and kisses his baby birb on the forehead, "Let's get you to bed. It's been a... productive day."
