August looks at him curiously "I have no hold over Leonora. She is Coradel's vassal. There is no basis to spurn me over."

"i'm worried you're going to distance yourself from her as a friend out of some misunderstanding of what her not telling you does or doesn't mean" Earl says not sure he's found the right words.

"I am concerned that she chose to come here rather than heal at home and conceal her injuries from her Liege, but only as an aside. I'm not her Liege nor has her Liege asked me about it. She is free, as far as I know, to seek aid from anyone and anywhere. If there is a lack or want of resources at Earthrunes, I'm sure she'll address it appropirately as befits a Captain of the Guard. I think this is the way?" that last as he begins back to where Leonora rests.

"Emma wasn't there???" He reminds as he follows "SO I took her here. Wasn't her choice."

"Ah." he nods understanding.

The enter into the cottage

He finds Leonora back in her clothes

Still pale and a bit frail

August offers a bow/nod as he enters. "I'm heading back."

"Great. I'm going with you" Leonora says

"If you like."

"Why wouldn't I like?" She looks baffled and gives him a hug

He hugs her back, gently and carefully. He turns and nods to Earl and Clem. "Thank you for your hospitality."

"We never turn away the wounded, and Earth Runes folks have always been kind to us and ours" Chief Clem says

Ooc work delay

"Earl, you going back with them?" Clem says

"I think they may want to talk" Earl says a bit grave himself

THAT gets Leonora's attention

She looks over at August questions in her eyes

"Entirely up to you, Earl." August says mildly.

"Actually Earl, if you don't mind?" A look from Leonora "I think I need to talk to him alone after all"

August abides calmly, waiting on the lady's readiness.

Earl gestures "Shoo" And the two vanish back to reappear at Earth RUnes

August sways, not quite staggering, as they appear. "He really could give some warning...." he murmurs.
