"Easy folks, Easy" Buck says letting the childlings off his back after a harrowing trod ride. The elephant pooka is a hefty girl, and the redcap childling has been eyeing her companion like a meal

Clem swoops in, like an Eagle helping folks escape Mordor , before shifting with her own precious cargo, a coughing wet sluagh boy, and a piskie lad.

She shifts back and starts give orders "Okay, we got some from Puerto Rico earlier, now we got a florida crew what needs helping... you all know the drill, make sure these kids get plenty of grumb in their bellies, set up the cots in the spare farm house. Keep an eye out for any injury or illness."

Murray strides in "And you want us to go back to help White Sands? Just the trolls or we helping even the nobles?"

The Chief frowns "Priorities is any childlings period, I don't care if they got soem title we're going to ignore or not, but we'll focus on the have lesses than the have mores. We get a few trolls wanting to be regulars that's gold, but that ain't why we do this"

The Storm snorts "Sure thing, little sis"

"That's Chief little sis to you" She replies, "Where's the Mountain?"

"He's scrying about using that water from the Rain of Hurricane Ian. Should be better than a satilite for tracking. " The Hearth calls out a window, feeling a bit overwhelmed but not showing it

"Thank you, Hearth Kourntey. You see any DeBuke lolly gagging, you grab him or her and put them to work."

"Yes, Chief" She says

"Are the sky gods angry with us? Was it something I Said?" Ask the elephant pooka

Buck says "Nope. Not a bit your fault. But you can help. You get cleaned up, make sure you and your friend get fed, and then, you kids wish REALLY Hard. Okay? Wish for everyone to make it out safe. Wishes may not always work, but it is well known, and I have read books on the subject" The big Centaur assures "That CHildlings are the strongest wishers of all. You do that okay?"

"I shall WISH so hard the hurricane's GRAND MOTHER FEESLS it" The little She Cap snaps

"Wish it to the cornfield!" The pooka boy says

The DeBukes pause

"To the outfield?" the pooka corrects

"Just wish it to calm down" Buck smiles "And become a nice gentle breeze"

"I can do that," The pooka elefphant girl says "I don't even need a permit"

Thus assured, the childling refugees are sent to clean up, dress up, get fed and wish wish wish
