He arches a brow "Wow. You can do that?"

"That... that, of course, opens up many unknowns. For Da'an is no tame lion."

"And the Mountain is sure to know"

She frowns.

"He cannot forbid that of which he is unaware."

Buck looks impressed "You're just as much trouble as Clem says you are" he does not disapprove

She shrugs. "You have heard the nickname?"

"The corrupter. Said fondly by some..." He whispers "between you and me? I don't care what Court she favors, I'll supprot her but Clem has fantastic abs"

"I know, not proper BUck, but she sure blushes pretty and slightly pleased when I tell her" he says "She considers you a great friend"

"She's an old friend of mine. One of my first."

"Maybe you shouldn't help Agnes. It might .. I don't want to have a wedge between you and Clem as friends. "

"And yet this... 'ceremony'..."

A frown "it's an abomination... 'Satyrs do something like it' she tells me. She's right. But satyrs don't.... they don't throw their souls into a fire. Maybe that's why most DeBukes come back here, but it sure seems... it's a farm, a home, not a prison, right?"

"Well, sure. Anything I can do to help here while you do?"

"If you spot Mine Heart, ah... Hm." She wrinkles her eyebrows.

"If I spot Earl?" He coaxes

"He might wish a clue."

"Your man is pretty perceptive" A nod "Odd, but brilliant" He seems to mean it

"He is both." Fondly.

"Yeah, he has that same smile when I ask about you"

She quietly glows.

"So aye, if he suspects..." A gesture.

"Be subtle."

"Subtle..." the big centaur looks down "No problem"

"You're amongst trolls. It shall be easy-mode, worry not."

"Heh.. right. I'll go distract Earl and others"

And he trots off. He's a good man. Clem finally seems to have found the right one to be steady with, but Zara may hope they have SOME drama. Better writing material born of that.
