NMR-EBG chitters and stands up defensively.

Snuzzle "It's okay, it's Clem" the queen tells him

"Can you two come out?" Clem says "It's time"

He trundles around in a circle. "Dearest? What do you think?"

"We trust her or we wouldn' be here"

He nods, nuzzles her one more time, and then nose-pushes her towards Clem.

she's chosen a duskier time, so the sun's not so bright as tthey come out

He chitters fiercely, just to make a point, as he pads around NMR-CC.

"Yes, mister stoodgepoole" Clem says , "Bu I'm on your side"

He nose-butts CC towards Clem. Respectfully.

And, both on the Molerats on the surface- pop... one moment they're naked molerats the next... they're a satyress and Boggan

CC gasps, and feels her horns

Emerson checks her, then himself.

they seem... fine?

"Mi mi..." CC checks her singing voice.

"Lovely as ever, Miss CC" Clem smiles "And how do you feel, sir?" She looks to EBG

"Capital, as always... Chief, I must thank you. We will follow up, of course but.... this time had been educational, as well as healing. Thank you."

"Actually, if you like, I got you a check up scheduled witth a doctor where hey see if the cancer is gone" Clem says

"Clem, you... why thank you" CC says

Emerson tutts around in CC's orbit.

CC rises, and stretches "Well, I FEEL great. I worry my teeth are bucked stil"

"Thank you, Chief." he says sincerely "Where is Caesar?"

"At your Club... but I bet he'd rush rigghtt over if we called" Clem smiles

"Oh first the check I think" CC smiles "If I get the all clear there... then I'll have good news"

"Indeed." Emerson says, agreeing with CC.

"Sounds fine and dandy then" Clem gives an easy nod "now, you want a meal before you go? figure you might want some non tuber"

"Dearest?"

"I worry I've gained weight. Barely excercised at all" CC says, then smiles coyly "Well, got some excercise thanks to my man here"

He chortles quietly, then clears his throat.

"One does what one can"

Clem's eyes widen "Oh dear. Uhm.. you two mated?"

CC says "Hey, my hero earned it" She pats Emerson

"It's.. not for me to judge," Clem bites her lip "But ah...you had a different metabolism. If you were on birtth control it might have.. uhm worn off?"

CC's eyes go WIDE

Blink.

He clears his throat again. "That is but another test, then."

"Oh dear god" CC mutters

"It's unlikely, but thoughtt I should mention" Clem says

"two tests" CC says

"Thank you, Chief." calmly "We'll take care of both tests." he takes CC's hand.

"Well, the cancer one is set up. " Clem says "I pretended to be your assistant" Clem says "But you do have time for a nosh"

"If you wish, Dearest."

"Well, yes... I'm sure Agnes would be offended if we didn't"

"Oh, dear, yes... Agnes's food is not to be dismissed. Let's go in and have a bite."

the food is , as always, excellent, and no tuber in it. Slices of glazed ham, green beans done perfectly, and bread rolls

Oh, carbs.... if Emerson has a weakness, carbs are it. He enjoys the meal, and makes sure CC has a full plate.

CC does

"Oh, I forgot how much I missed rrreal food. Thank you, Agnes"

"Delicious, as always. Thank you, Dear Agnes, for your hospitality."

"Oh, now, you'd do the same for us, young man, you too, young lady" Agnes says "I figured a solid square meal would suit you best"
