Clem snorts as the flowers are delivered.

"They're lovely, aren't they?" the delverer says

"Well, flowers aren' very useful" the farm girl says as she takes the bouquet

"But thank you" She adds not wantinng to seem ingrateful

"Don't thank me, thank the fellow who sent them" the delivery lady winks and heads off.

Clem looks left, looks right, then, when she's sure she's not got witlessness, she takes a sniff of the lovely mix of flowers

which of course, is when they start singing...!

Clem's stoicism fails her as she listens in rapt wonder as they serenade her, writhing as if in a light breeze

There's an 'awww' from some of the younnger wilder girls, a few smirks from the older wilders and younger grump women.

Clem blushes realizingg a small crowd has gathered, then clears her throat "If ya'll don't have enough work to do- I CAN find some!"

And they wisely retreat
