"Kittywitch?" A Snerk from the nocker. Apparently she buys it. Obviously only the novice would HAVE to put up with that

Zara manages only to snerk a little bit.

"Hey give the kid some credit. My memories are wild about it but she had her soothsay down cold" The nocker adds

"Yes she's a natural talent there" Clem adds

"Aye, I have some skill in that art."

"Huh.. so.. do we go look for this placee WE built?" Kenzi says

"I think it would be grand..."

"Hold on..." A look "Zara... you're the one with her hat on. Ken that"

Zara closes her eyes, kenning.

It has power it didn't before almost...realizationn. The hats are the trods!

which is supposed to be impossible. trods do not hook up to THINGS

Her eyes widen. "Oh!"

"Grandmother is clever."

Clem says "Well, Kittywitch, wannna share?"

"Not if you keep calling me that."

the troll's smile goes positively wolfish "Fine. Caree to share, Miss Zara?"

"Look for yourself. Tis both the key and the path."

"Wait, you can't tie a trod to.. wait.. hold on..." the nocker reaches into her bag pulling out her own hat "Grandmother's not just clever, she's got some short cuts"

"I better get my own stupid hat" Clem says and departs to her hut

"How delightful!" She bounces a little. "Oh, I should fetch my broom."

"Is it here? You may have to wait.."

Clem returns wiht her hat "I feel ridiculous, but yes I can feel it"

"Aye, I use it mostly on trods."

"So.. let's see... " Kenzi says "We find a place where trods are already, that's best... then focus on the hat and I guaarentee we get some mojo working"

"True, probably easier from the SIlver..."

And to the silver they go... and they each gget to the ledge... touch their hats. And FOCUS...

and a trod , silver as any but shaped like a vine forms out of the one they were on and leads them off... into the DREAMING
