Adam sighs and turns the page to the NEXT set of problems.

Clem comes in "Folks, we're very sorry, but classes will be online for the next two days. Tablets will be provided and this is expected to be short term"

Adam looks up with a puzzled frown. What the....??

The teachers nod and Clem says "Any from Rivervale will please remain here. The rest will be escorted safetly to trods with rover assistance. Thank you all"

Adam's expression grows sober. He packs up.

The DeBukes do seem somber, no nonsense. Whatever is going on, it's related on Rivervale

He goes to meet his escort home.

Alanza walk with him "What the heck is going on you think?"

"Uh......"

"It's a thing."

"I guess there were some attacks on Bergen, and shit, and they're going to handle business I bet."

"THat thing Zane warned me about" She frowns "I noticded he didn't come to school today."

"Yeah. I thought maybe he was cutting but...."

"Looks more serious" She agrees

"I guess. Looks like it's going down, anyway."

"Wonder if we should text him?"

"I guess he's busy? I mean... I don't want to break his flow, you know? Chief said 2 days. Maybe then?"

"I guess you're right" She sighs as they approach Minerva

Minerva says "You realize I'm curious beyond words?"

"Lady." He greets with a small bow.

Alanza says "We don't know much, Minerva. "

Minerva inclines her head

then sighs "Well, sounds like you know more than I do about the situaton"

Adam looks around to see if the escort is there yet.

Alanza says "The Rivervale crew are engaged in some intrigue."

Adam says nothing for a bit, then adds "Not sure it's intrigue, really, but whatever it is they can handle it."

"I hope so" Minerva 's lips draw in concern "I worry about Zane"

"Oh, Zane's got mighty mojo. I mean... some serious juju. He can handle himself. What he's -already- done? Pffft."

"He is..potent" Minerva admits thoughtfully

"Hell yeah."

"Right. Zane knows he can call on us if he needs us. Besides, we already have something else to look into. Adam and I ran into an odd woman" And just like that she begins to tell the tale to Minerva

"Steward Delores said she'd handle it." Adam reminds Alanza during a pause for breath.

"Well, yes, but not like we're going to agree with that REALLY right?" Alanza says

Adam scowls a bit. "I'd rather find out more, figure it out, but......"

"Aren't you curious?" Minerva asks

"I want to figure out what the lady's deal was and make sure she's not a danger to EarthRunes."

"Or... anyone there." he adds, glancing at Alanza.

"Then we can.. you know, date again... and if we happen to stumble onto some clues while dating..." Alanza hints "Who can say it wasn't destiny?"

"Destiny IS handy like that" Minerva says

Adam grins at Alanza. "Hey, if you want a date....."

"Well, I'm either dating you or Minerva if it means I get to nose around" Alanza's eyes spparkle

"oo pick me" Minerva grins

He looks a bit troubled and says "Hey, if you ladies are trying it out, that's cool. I'm not getting into the middle of that."

"I was JOKING, Adam" Minerva sighs

" 'Lanza, you know I'd like to spend more time with you." he adds.

"So was I," Alanza says "Yes, Adam, I was hoping you'd go on a second date with me"

"I'd love to." Adam confirms with a handsome smile.

Alanza takes his arm and smiles "good"

He leans in to kiss her lips.
