Adam sits through school.

DeBuke and Co!  [5:00 PM]
Minerva sits nearby, she scribbles silently

He works steadily. B's and C's in his courses, the occasional A on an assignment. Head down, chin up.

Of course, socializing comes too, or at least it's supposed to. But his aloof attitude (To put it nicely) may have a lot of folks assuming he doesnt' give a shit about them as well as the school. When it's meal time, he finds he's kind of..cliqueless

No worries. He doesn't bother Zane or Alanza either; he takes his meal to eat outside if he can, or at a table somewhere if he can't.

Zane and Alanza are eating. It's a bit ..ah freezing outside today

Then a table to himself is fine.

Well, he plops next to a guy, who looks worried.

Adam eats.

"Damn it" the guy says.

"You ok?" Adam asks.

"No. Sister's missing." A grunt. "Sorry. I shouldn't ttalk out loud like a mad man" He's a Kinian

"Join the Club." Adam grunts back.

A confused look "Your sister missing too?" then realization "oh. Yeah. Sorry"

"Nope. She's around here somewhere."

"No problem."

"The talking to myself.. Got to work on that" He says aloud

"Sometimes it's the only way to get through, man. Don't sweat it."

"Thanks. My names Trask." he holds out a hand.

Adam shakes. "Adam Thomas."

"Heard about you, seen you around but you seemed to want to be alone so I figured I'd respect it"

"Thanks."

Adam eats a bit. "Your sister's missing?"

"Has been for a bit. Scrying's not working, but they'll find her .. and she's alive"

He does not look convinced

"Sorry, man. That sucks. You.... you wanna tell me? Don't have to."

"She's a kinian, like me, right? But her kenning is sttrong and sometimes she goes looking for glamour, trying to find some dross our family can use? I think that's what she was doing when she vanished"

"Where? I mean... where did that happen? If you want to say. Look, I don't know you but .... that sucks."

"She likes this place, tends to go by the stream near the farm itself? But the DeBukes don't find her and their magic is.. superstrong"

"This place... you mean here?"

"Yeah" A nod "Well, the hold itself, tthe magic part"

"Your sister went missing here and the DeBukes can't find her?"

To clarify.

"Pretty much" he says

"Are you KIDDING me???"

"Nope" He sighs

"What the fuck?"

"They're working on it" He sighs "That's what they tell me"

Adam seethes quietly as he puts the rest of his lunch down.

"It's not their fault" He says

"You want to go looking? Right now?"

"Not allowed. Classes" he says frustrated

"Yeah."

"How about fuck that?"

Trask frowns "Fine. She's my sis. Right?" he rises "let's go"

"Ok. Yeah." Adam gets up and follows.

He gets up and goes with him.. skipping next class

Adam is on the hunt.

But to hunt her, they must cross through the DeBuke farm!

Adam slows.

"Sorry, man."
