"Okay everyone," Clem says " Feels like we've been standing here for days. Jessica, are you okay?"

Jessica nods grimly, pocketing her phone.

"They'll be back, I think."

"With their plans to spike our water foiled, yes. That's why we do a wild hunt soon... on one officer who was the ring leader." Clem says, her tone a hard edge. "He will learn in his nightmares what daylight won't teach"

"That's.... very public, Clem." She observes carefully.

"Oh wer'e not doing it now, Jessica... " She says "You get it, Remus?"

A kinain boy grins, "Sure did. Button off his uniform good for scrying?" He holds it up.

"It'll do," Clem says

"We scry, spy and then get him when he sleeps..enchanted that is, wake him up ..hunt him a world he didn't know existed. We learn more from him... scare him straight. Sluagh do it better, but my goodness it can be fun" her eyes sparkle a bit

"I guess that's... not -as- public." Slowly.

"Warned you this wasn't going to be to the syle you liked, but we are grateful you catching that little robot. Gonna have to ask Mara for help against those things. "

"No, no, Clem.... I'm just not used to doing things that way."

"I don't doubt it" Clem pats a hand on Jessica's shoulder "So I think it's best if you skip that. Frankly you've done plenty when you should be taking easy, well, as easy as it gets around here."

"Well. It's something to think about, anyway."

"You need something to do? Well why didn't you say so," Clem says with a smile. "You up to Chimera trapping?"

"I'll do what I can." She volunteers.

"Okay, take this bag..... go into those bushes... Clap, and we'll see if we can get the snipe"

She gives Clem a lifted eyebrow that is Frank to the life.

A grin "Well, someone isn't too cityfied. Fine...we do have a Chimera that needs trapping, and it's no snipe."

"Mmmhm."

Jessica might wonder if she's got another version of the snipe hunt, until she's shown the tracks...

A chimerical fox is in the area, and even the fae hounds are having problems.

"Clem, I'll do what I can but...if your hounds can't find it I'm not sure where I'll have any luck." Dubiously.

"Well, I could turn you into a female fox and see if you lure him in" Clem says "But I was thinking of using one of our chickens as bait. Old Henrita is near death, poor girl.. and she'll be a tempting target."

"Um. Well, no, no to the fox thing but.... well.... I feel bad about using an old chicken as bait."

"Do you have another idea?" Clem is willing to hear her out "Because that fOx will go after chickens anyway, and their eggs"

"I don't, no. I mean.... I'm willing to, Clem, I see the logic of it. I just feel bad about it at the same time. I'm sure if there was another way, you'd try it."

"Life on the farm involves a lot of life and death"

"But I know it doesn't help to hear it. " Clem shrugs

"Well. It'll be something I learn, then." She squares up her shoulders.

And the hunt begins... with Jessica feeling an odd urge. She wants ot catch the fox AND save that old chicken! And by the Dreaming.. if she can, she will! The bait will live!
