"I just don't know why you're here," Clem says, "No offense. I mean, we're a more open hold now, but you showing up was a surprise."

Caesar smiles, "What can I say. I figured there would be some Caesarinos, and I heard you guys were almost always overflowing with people in need you tried to help but ran out of room for. I can use my resources to get them places, havens... I'm into real estate as well as wrestling now."

Clem finds it mildly disturbing to be near a satyr as tall as she is, the talk of wrestling makes her think of what she learned about her mother. "Well, we don't have as many wrestling fans as basketball fans but we sure could use the help now and then. Or the help helping as it were true. Mighty nice of you..."

"Please, call me Caesar," He grins, then looks around "Weather really has improved here I take it? Lot of chores being done outside."

Indeed, many of the DeBuke women the single ones, are choosing to dry laundry on lines outside or churn butter, or tend to the animals ... coincidentally where they can get a look at the very tall, highly muscular, bare chested satyr.

"Yeah, greening done, brings that out in them.. the weather" Clem shoots them a look, "Ladies, are we prioritizing proper?"

One DeBuke lady spins her churn "Sure are, Chief. Though if he'd like a tour, I churn butter. He looks like a natural."

Clem rolls her eyes.

Caesar smiles, "I'd love to learn sometime, after the chief and I are done maybe?"

Clem coughs "After we're done talking about helping set up havens for those we've helped in recent flooding, he means."

An 18 year old with braids flashes a smile, "Always nice to have a man around when you need to deal with the wet."

Clem eyes Sassy DeBuke "Sassy, seeing as you don't seem too busy, why don't you handle the fertilizer today. Jerome needs some time off."

Sassy winces. Then sighs 'Yes, Chief." And off she goes.

Clem says "I apologize for ...well, we're not always used to strangers."

"Oh," Caesar smiles, "A stranger is just a friend that needs scratched in the right places to be revealed"

Clem nods, "I reckon" And says nothing more than that.

As the two depart out of earshot, the young women of the farm begin to chatter.
