Her drunk sleep worn off, there is very little hang over for Miriam.

She does however stir to find a pair of eyes much like her own staring at her in the shadows of the cabin. Watching her.

"Ugh...." she wakes groggy but rapidly clears her head. "Crap. Where am I now...?"

"at the farm." a whisper, a boy's whisper "in the shaman's hut. I was watching you. you're safe."

"Oy, gonna need a sherpa to get outta this thing..." she swims to the side of Emmitt's bed. "You... oh. Yeah. You. Hi." Awkwardly.

"Hello," a pause then added on "mom"

A very slight wince. "Yeah? You want that?"

"you prefer mother?" the boy says nervous as if this might all be batted away

"Naw, either way... just.... you sure you want -me-?"

He looks her over, then "of course we do"
