"Oh yours is in the purple container. Clem insists we keep it in that color" she says "More 'mundane' cream is in the yellow"

"Aye, tis the Schwartz System." She picks it up. "I wonder - when I go to school, what shall my parents do?"

Agnes says "What a question. They'll have it ready in case you drop by. "

She pinks faintly. "Aye. If all is well, I shall only be an hour away. Did Clem speak to you of Shakespeare Gardens?"

"She did, a bit... Seems like an odd reason to grow anything to me, just because a Playwright made a fuss over it all, but I'm old and jaded...and it seems to me a bit of culture won't kill us. Some of the lads here never saw Death of Salesman, and that shocked me, so I suppose I best do something before they ask who Othello is.'

"And if it may foster a trod...."

"Then that has it's pros and cons but yes, I agree with Clem that we can givei t a go. Emmit will help for as much as the challenge as anything. Shameful somedays how that old fool flexes to impress you younguns" Despite her stern face Zara knows Agnes loves Emmit like another brother

Clem says "Well, not everyone underplays, Aunt Agnes" a knowing smile

"I wish I could have seen him in his sunglass-wearing wilder days..."

"Oh I could tell you a few stories about Wildheart" She sniffs but there's a fondness

"Long hair and a motorcycle..."

"it was the microbus that nearly got us all killed" Agnes says with a scoff

"Microbus?" Earl says

"US?" Clem says

"Enjoy your tea," Agnes says as she withdraws "And Zara, I didn't say it before, forgive, but you're welcome. Just got my head elsewhere forgot my mannnners"

She raises her cup slightly and dips her head. "Well received, Hearth."

And out the grump goes.

"Microbus..." Earl repeats

"Us" Clem says "She said 'us' I mean, I knew Uncle Emmit traveled more than most, but i never thought of Aunt Agnes having adventures"

Zara raises her index and middle fingers in a V. "Groovy, baby."

Chuckles all around

Tea is had, with the discussion of ... the completely speculative adventures of Wildheart and whatever name Hearth Agnes went under. the mind? It boggles. Vashti has the most outrageous theories of all, declaring that in a place such as this where machinery is maintined , that means the microbus, or some remnant of it, is somewhere, and perhaps has a road map to Narnia, Wunderland, Oz, or even Mordor.

Perhaps a summer road trip is in order?

Perhaps!

And perhaps somewhere, two grumps speak of the wilders saying 'they know too much'... or perhaps not. But it's fun to imaginen
