Jessica blinks, then nods. "Ok. Thank you for telling me. Not for nothing, I don't think he'd love it, being talke about and all. We're going to put the Rivervale painting up in the room with the Balefire, please."

Jessica shakes her head with a sigh. "Why would I care where they went? Good grief...."

Mitra admires the painting, "That is...some beautiful work. And a very impressive family. Who's the new girl?" She gestures to Siv

"My, um.... my sister." Jess is still a little bemused by it.

"that's what I..." Mitra raises a brow, "Beg your pardon? My memory is normally pretty good. You've never mentioned a sister"

Jess nods. "Well... seems she was born in the Dreaming, on the Quest. So... no, I wouldn't have mentioned. I just found out."

"Born in the... how ..sorry, just surprised she's able to enter this world."

The age doesn't seem to surprise her as much

She nods soberly. "They did what they could to take precautions, try and protect her and all during the trip back."

"Amazing." She says, "I'd like to meet this lass sometime. " then a look, "And how are you holding up with new sister hood?"

"She's going to come for a visit; we haven't really nailed down details, though. I'm... ok. I mean, it's a little weird. Threw me, at first. But... it's ok. She's a great kid."

The news seems generally acceptable, although Necropsis's expansion causes her to sigh resignedly. "Did Buce kill the Chimera?"

"Yes, he's rather proud of it. It was some sort of Waspman thing. I don't know who dreamed it up, but it was nasty. He gave the wings to Tomas, and the stinger to Alejandro."

"That was nice of him." Impressed. "For the record, you're right. Trolls don't appreciate anyone prying into our personal lives." She pauses a moment. "I would not be upset if that notion was maybe broadcast a little bit, and respected."

"I'll try, but you do know that the most common kiths in this hold are Pooka....and followed closely by boggans? Asking the latter not to pry into personal lives is like asking slaugh to sunbathe. They might try, but they wince the whole time and eventually get back to the shadowy work they know"

"Fair enough. I don't want anyone to hurt themselves."

"You do have a friend's pointed ear if you want to talk about whatever their gossiping about you." Mitra offers.

Jessica shakes her head. "Thank you, and if I need to I will, but I'm not troubled by what I've heard."

"Fair enough, " She says "Well, you've heard what I had to say about what's happened while you were gone. Anything else you need me working on now that you're back?"

Jessica thinks. "I, um, I'm not sure. I don't think so."

OOC We had a bunch of stuff on fire at TJ but then got lured away.... do we need/want to address what happened?

BIC: "No worries then" she says "Very little news from the Countess' area."

"I hope she's well?" Curious.

"I'm a bit worried myself. " She admits "I'm your vassaal not hers but it's still odd that she's gotten quiet. I fear war is pulling her away."

Jess exhales. "Should we .... I don't know, send a liaison? I mean, I know things got kind of tense, but I -want- to like the Countess, you know?"

"That would be me, then. Are you officially sending me to pass on a message even if it's 'everything is under control'"

"I'll find something to say, mask it under bureaucracy and hint at more if need be." She says "But I'll head out. Tomorrow okay?"
