She remembers the taste of the sea all right, Unsinkable they called it. Here she was, happily onboard heading towards New York City, of course, it was as one of the twenty three stewardess, but her real passion was music. She'd work her way on this cruise, then get off at New York City and make a new life, her hard work helped her survive, her voice would help her make it big! At least one of the well to do passengers had noticed her. Oh, many a fellow eyed the female staff as if they too would be served on a platter like the fine meals, but she liked this one. He was not just rich, he was polite, and seemed concerned with others. A rare treat. A dalliance was definitely a temptation. But no, she had to make it on her own, to get a chance on record and more in the greatest city in America. If she could make it there, she'd make it anywhere. Look out New World, here comes the next European song bird flying in on the maiden voyage of... the Titanic
