"It does seem to be a rule of the Dreaming that monster either have hoards or settle near sunken treasure. If we find any, the crew will be wanting a third" The captain says

"The goal of my mission is to placate this beast." She answers! "If I make peace with the sea monster only to have it get pissed off that it's treasure was stolen..." she considers, then gives the Captain a wry smile. "Well, you're a grown woman, that would just make it YOUR problem."

At THAT Shi laughs "You seem to know how ship adventures work. No stranger to the waves of danger eh?"

"Do you know of Lady Knight Captain Siv Wavebourne? That's me wife, and I've sailed the seas over a time or two on her Narwhal." Beaming with pride at her love.

"You're married to Siv? Oh Zane should have started with that. Aye, your wife is quite the adventurer... bit of a legend"

"I heard she married a satyreess, and a troll... three is a deelightful number I am sure" Shi chuckles

Inky blushes

"Threeeeee is the loveliest number, that I ever knew!" She sings.

"OOO you do have a fine voice" Captain Shi grins widely "That'll pay for your supper there"

"As it stands, we'll start up for a sea trod. From there... well, ye never know"

"But we always get through.." She assures

"Excellent! I'll look forward to it. Say, I saw the guy up in the crows nest... how does he call the alarm?"

A smile "He cannot talk loudly, but he can blow a whistle. Different notes and different tunes for different reports. Tis why we call the scrawny one Whistle!"

She claps in delight. "Now that's a fine thought!"

"I wonder if he has perfect pitch?"

"He gets off shift soon so youre free to pester. He's shy about his musical side but maybe ye'll have more luck coaxing him than I do"

"Your pardon, but I must be off, captaining to do... Dinner be in an hour .It's not good but it's edible" She moves on

"Oh, of course, Off with ye."

A sigh, missing Jonas's cooking already. "It's Tuesday, that's lasagna night..."

The pooka tuts, "You want to talk about it, Champ?"

"Do I ever!" She flops back on her bunk and starts chatting away about her lovers, and the babies. "Never thought I'd see myself as the family sort - hell, never thought I'd get married OR knocked up... not that we had the wedding yet, but the paperwork is filed so that we could make sure all of the official stuff was on the books for the kids sakes..." Chatter chatter

"And the lasagna, though, HOO BOY, he uses five, count it FIVE different cheeses..."

And she listens, even as she strokes Piper's head during her complaints, it's GOOD to share this info and Inky is happy to listen and comment "TWO kids? I guess kid fits as they're at least part goat right?" A smile "Hey, two moms makes for a tag team so one of you cann take a breather than tag the other back out" and "FIVE? Unpossible. Only four cheses are known to man"

"That's what I thought!" She says, happily.

"So, What's Jonas' favorite color?" She asks "And Siv's?"

She considers this, then answers. OF course Piper knows the answer.

Piper tells them and.... well, Siv is a Fiona so at least one isn't hard to get.

Geeze this is relaxing... "And you like your hair how long?"

"Oh, just past the ears on the one side, and an undercut shaved up on the other... it's so hard to find someone who really understands curls, though..."

This is nice. Piper thinks!

Eventually, she hears the light snipping sounds.

She blinks, and ... "Do you hear that?"

"Nope" Snip

Piper sits up and tries to peer around at Inky. "What are you up to?"

The bowls of coloring dye, the hair fallen, not too much, on the floor ,all lay evidence of just WHAT she is up to. The pooka looks at her with innocent eyes and says "Making the world a happier place?"

Snip. That one spot in the front now gotten "Tadaa!" She holds up a hand mirror and Piper is ready to kIll the... darn it, that .. that looks great!

"Why you little.... heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!"

The streaks of the two colors are artfully applied, and she handled the curls JUST right

"Well, this IS a problem." She huffs.

"Now I'm going to have to go to the Bahamas every time I need a haircut!"

The rat pooka smiles "Oh they'll exile me out of that soon enough but I can give you my contact info so you can see if I'm in town?"

"Oh, definitely. and you get a free pass for music any time you want it!"

She beams "YAY"

And it's dinner time
