"I could..." She hesitates, "Despite how blasé the Rivervaler's are about trods, I always feel a little techy about using them too often or too... cavalierly. I mean, sure, they have their own Rover on hand, but what if this time is the time I end up wandering a side trail for a decade?"

Then she pauses, "Wait, am I a Rivervaler now?" Pondering

"Well, I'd say so, though I know Goldfinch is more your jam"

A soft snort. "I was talking location, not freehold. Really, Zuzu, there's more to where you live then the closest 'fire." She grins. "Sure, holds are great, but I really like being able to stand on my own two hooves and not feel beholden to ANY freeholder. Though, I -will- always be grateful to Sylvi for what she's done there. I don't know if I ever would have learned to muse as well as I do without Goldfinch being there."

"The bale and the near dreaming around it are very tied, Pip Pip," He counters, but then says "But yes there is more than that to factor in. I think you're a Valer by oath mate if nothing else"

"Well, we're not oathed." She corrects him. "Someday, though,."

Clearly teasing him.

"Oh, I thought you guys trippled up on some oath by now" He says surprised, "My bad, cuz. I shouldn't presume."

A smioole does spread over his face though "Jonas ever mistreats you, let me know. I'll go all 'stand in big brother' on him" A wink

"Ha! The moon would sooner fall from the sky."

"Though, how have you been, Zane? Any nice ladies catching your eye lately? I wouldn't dream of saying you should make an honest woman out of someone, but at the very least you could spread a little bit of honesty around to keep the local ladies happy." A wicked grin.

"I flit and flirt, and sometimes more" He smiles "Truth is, lady trolls appreciate discretion, so I'll name no names" He ponders "But if your'e asking if I've found 'the' girl? " A wistful look "Nah. I think maybe it's best I keep my distance from that anyway. A wizard walks a dangerous road and a lonely one at times"

"I understand. I know I'm an outlier in satyr circles for having been pinned down at all, let alone so young. You know, I was out the other night over in Teaneck area, and this rude boggan waitress asked if it was true that Jonas 'baby trapped' me? She was LUCKY that I was there alone, and that I was on a gig, or else I might have slugged her."

A huff! "If they hadn't tipped so well..." grumble mutter. "Though it WOULD have been fun to see Siv challenge her to a duel."

"Baby trapped? DAMN" he snorts in distaste, "rude buttinski there. Heck, say what you want about the Bergen crew, but they've ALWAYS got each others backs when it comes to babysitting."

"Damn straight."

"Speaking of which, aren't your kids visting your moms? or was that earlier?"

"Yeah, they decided on being Mimi and Nonna, though I can't remember which is which." A laugh.

"Mimi and Nonna? Nonna I get... not sure i heard of mimi but hey, cooll" A grin
