until... TEXT: Colton's busy right now, don't worry, he'll contact you as soon as he's sober

A LONNNNNG pause before a reply. Who's this?

TXT: Not an attractive rival girlfriend, so don't sweat that. I'm keeping him away from the harpies

The typing doesn't seem like Zane.

TXT: Um...thanks, but who IS this?

TXT: Someone who is making sure Colton doesn't fall off stage while he sings Jason Mraz Sleeping to Dream on stage, albeit it slurred. Scucse me, I promised to provide back up

No response for awhile

And then Zane gets a text: Who's texting me back on Colton's phone?! Won't give me a name!

TXT: _ Sylvi? I'm in the middle of a great ritual to erase ... oh no, it's gone wrong, the mutliverse is breaking through I .. arrrrrgh... just kidding. I'm not allowed to tell you_

TXT: I will tell you it's hilarious and kind of great!

that from Zane, of course.

Zane texts back TXT: Sylvi, you're not MY girlfriend. Why do you think the pout will work in emoji form on me? ;)

TXT: Because you're SUPPOSED to be my FRIEND!

Somewhere, Zane rolls his eyes "Oh that's dirty pool."

TXT: Also, I might sic your cousin on you.

TXT: by the time you do, it'll be too late. Mwhahaha, mine is an evil laugh.

TXT: HEY!

TXT: I am your friend. I am also Colton's friend. And I am also a wizard. I will tell you what you need to know not late, nor early, but precisely when you need to know. :male_mage:

Clearly he's getting cocky

TXT: You're digging yourself pretty deep there, Wayburton.

TXT: I figure there's only so much you can do to me down there. Also, I've had a few beers so feeling cocky

Zane doesn't get any reply to that.

They pull in, the pout to speed up worked on the Knight's Heart Driver!

Piper looks out the window. "What is this place, again?" For her player's benefit.

Sylvi waved to the theater as they passed by. But now she's getting her game face on, and bracing herself for whatever she's likely to see as they arrive at the bar that has karaoke night.

Melodies and Mimosas? Huh

The place looks old, worn, but comfy

and that's Sully's car!

"I knew it," she says on seeing the car. A last touch up of make up, a thank you to the driver. "Let's do this."

Piper gives them each a spritz of a rather compelling perfume, and sends a quick text/selfie to Siv and Jonas - Out with Sylvi, don't wait up

"Let's roll!"

Sylvi gets spritzed, and then it's time to strut their way in. It might not be the most high-end looking place, but she's going to command the spotlight. Of course, she'd be impossible to miss, given the high heels she's wearing.

The place is not normally crowded, business was weak in fact... but now it seems to have more than usual, because the theatre gang is here, as is some from Darkgate.

Sylvi strides in, owning the attention of every guy in the room...

"Ahem" Her dad says from a table

That stops her mid-step, jaw dropped. "Ahhhh....Dad???"

Piper sulks a touch at the entrance she makes. Not that she begrudges Sylvi anything, but did she HAVE to add the heels? Feeling tiny for a moment.

Piper heads in after her, and looks around with a grin.

Piper will be pleased to note, her arrival, short or not, gets some admiring looks too

Olgar looks at his daughter "Have a seat, you two. They're about to start another song and you'll throw him off if he sees you right away"

Piper might actually look better, as Sylvi's surprise has caused her to get a bit tripped up in her strut.

"What are you doing here?" she hisses at him as she takes a seat.

"I'm a Rover. I rove?" He looks a bit amused.

"You know that's not what I mean. Waitaminit...were you the one texting me back?"

Piper looks around to see if she can spot what Zane is up to.

Zane, is on STAGE... and with him, a slightly swaying Colton!
