A shake of his head, he doesn't think he's seen her. Or maybe all elves look the same. His hand is a bit shaky as he puts together the watch again - finally he sets it aside on the floor for a moment, to come back to, before he loses a screw.
"She visited this - it was still intact. I'm not sure how far back I saw. More that a few days, a few weeks - a month, maybe. You were right about the cantrip, or layers of cantrips. It felt like she was layering more energy on it. Like, when you refresh a ward."
He looks at Nadeen. "I didn't sense a spirit, though. It's fuzzy. Maybe I couldn't through this. But I could feel the glamour. I think I should have been able to. But I can't be sure. If I had to stake money on it though? This is something magical, not otherworldly. You gotta ask though - WHY would she? How does She benefit from this? Did she fox up a Dead Mom Spirit to say, "Booo, give my sister all my jewels?" Where is the gain? And... if Calanthe DID create this? Why keep it in a box instead of using it?"
